We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey as enjoyable as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be speeding through the airport and having a blast in Lanuza before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be easy if you take the right things. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a clean pair of socks and a few magazines. Next, find room in your carry-on bag for your laptop, a charger, any medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow as well. Lastly, don't forget to take your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp or pointed objects, like your precious pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and fuels, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft aren't the place for a fashion parade. Wear layers and opt for shoes that are flat, enclosed and easy to take on and off.
- Most travellers have heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. To minimize your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and move your legs and feet often.
