Wonderful booking will stay again

Had a great experience. The tub had been refinished and I did not have the issues some of the other reviews mentioned. Was able to walk to downtown locations. Additional plus the unit I stayed in had a desk not shown in the pictures which made working during the day easier. I found the locks to work just fine, but the outer door lock did take a couple of trys to get the timing for tumbler engagement right.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED

The pictures online didn’t match the actual property. The neighborhood was a little sketchy feeling. The back door lock was difficult to secure. Sometimes it locked, others it didn’t. I stayed 1 night out of 3 because I felt unsafe. And the property was very poorly represented. I would never recommend this property much less stay there again. Good luck to all that stay there.

Not Comfortable At All

We were disappointed in the uncomfortable furniture. Also, the thresholds to each room were bad. Fell the first day we were there. You must watch when going through any door. Will not stay at this apartment again.

Wonderful trip home

We had a great trip this place is in beautiful area of Florence, close to downtown quite neighborhood. Apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. Property manager was easy to communicate with with quick response time we will definitely stay here again.

Very cost effective compared to other hotels with full kitchen, spacious and clean. TV system worked very well. A contact phone number in case of any issues would be nice. As a tall person, the bathroom mirror was very low and there is limited counterspace in the bath area.

Work in progress

Prior to booking we contacted the property manager negotiated a rate for entire building. We disclosed that we were a family needing to stay in a central location with four pets under 45 lbs. We were given a 10% discount and booked the first unit but were unable to book the others due to a staffing issue. The new contact person charged a different amt per unit and a surcharge for each guests over 2. Some paid 5 per extra guest some paid 10. We were told each unit had its own pricing even though each unit was exactly the same. Upon our arrival we noticed a couple of units had construction dust from recent upgrades. Some couch’s were covered with smelly covers to protect against dogs. We cleaned up what we could as the building itself was perfect to keep our family together. Though handicap access would have been nice for our wheelchair. When preparing for retirement the comforter on one bed stuck to the sheets and when it was turned back it was so soiled that all the linen had to be laundered. We told our family to do the same before getting into bed. That is when we found the bedbug on the pillow. We immediately contacted VRBO and sent pics of everything we had found regarding cleanliness and they reimbursed us 200 for cleaning.What is such a shame is that this property has so much potential to be such a great STR. The hard work put into modernizing this historical building did not go unnoticed. Yet the customer service and communication were horrible & unsanitary

Mixed Feelings

I debated writing this review, but maybe this will help improve some things. 1. Dirty tub: the property manager assured me that the tub just needs to be replaced and was only discolored. 2. Fire alarm battery needed to be replaced: property manager offered to come over and replace it, but we were too busy to allow him to come rectify the situation. 3. Broken window: there is a broken window in the kitchen. It’s not a large hole, but it’s very noticeable. 4. Back entry door doesn’t lock. Worried about our safety during our stay. With that being said, the property manager was kind when I brought all of this to his attention. Hope this helps!

Comfortable and Convenient

In town with college roommate for class reunion. We were able to walk to events and nice area to go for walk. Only suggestion(s) blanket and some hangers. Would stay again if back in town.

Beautiful Condo

We enjoyed everything about this condo, from the size to the cleanliness to the ammenities! Thank you for taking care of your guests! Unfortunatley, we had to leave a day early because of a medical emergency but still enjoyed our time in your pace!

Lots of Room

Condo had lots of room, couches were not comfortable and no TV in the master. Kitchen was great for fixing Thanksgiving dinner. Dog was welcome with a fee. Second time we have stayed here.

Very Quiet Neighborhood

Very clean and spacious rooms. Within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Thanks for being pet friendly to our Yorkie. He loved it also.

Great location

Came for the weekend and a great location and close to downtown and multiple activities. Some difficulty with the lock on the back door but otherwise great stay and plenty of space and much more space than a typical hotel room.

Apartment B is downstairs it is a nice place we had a issue with the a/c but the property managers got that taken care of pretty quick my only problem with the property is the noise from upstairs you could hear every step they took vacuuming other than that a nice place

The downside was that I had about $150.00 item stolen from my boat while parked there. I’m probably going to look for a more secure location.

Very nicely remodeled Duplex

Only like 1.5 miles from McFarland park boat ramp at the lake, room for boat parking, outside outlet for charging your boat. Looks like the neighborhood is on its way back up. Great value
