Mercer Creek Retreat is located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood near Florence and is the perfect spot to set up a home base when you are ready to explore the Central Oregon Coast! This home offers comfortable, updated furnishings, a selection of books and games, and plenty of space to unplug, relax, and enjoy time together. Step out to the expansive deck area for a morning coffee in the fresh air or make your way to the enclosed sunroom when you are ready to spend a little time with a good book in hand. The full kitchen is more than ready to whip up tasty meals, and everyone will love gathering at the accommodating dining table to reminisce about the fun that was had each day. Don't worry about being disconnected on this vacation, as this home has free WiFi as well!

The home is located between Mercer and Sutton Lakes and is five miles from Heceta Beach. Beach access is also just one mile from home base and there is C&M which is a stable two miles away for beach horseback riding! Mercer Lake Resort is less than two miles away and offers swimming, lake access, and boat rentals. The city of Florence is five miles south on Hwy 101 and Old Town is a great place to explore with its charming shops and local restaurants. Heceta Head Lighthouse and the famous Sea Lion Caves are both fun places for the family to visit and are less than eight miles north.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Wonderful place to stay and take in the beach during the day and drove over to Eugene at night for the Olympic Trials. This property was perfect for our family!

We enjoyed the hot tub, the quiet of the location, and the amenities provided in the home. The beds are a bit harder than I am used to but comfortable, the driveway is extremely steep but we were able to park on the flat gravel part, and we thought there was private outdoor space but the deck is in the front so we spent our time indoors. I would recommend this property for others, especially because of how amazing the hot tub set up is, very relaxing.

Had a great stay. The house was beautiful and cozy with plenty of room for our party of 3-6. We had perfect weather which made for some gorgeous mornings views. Highly recommend, especially if your looking for something near everything Florence has to offer but just a little out of town.

The beds are hard -like sleeping on the floor hard, some stains on the carpet, upstairs bath tub didn’t drain well. The worst part was how ill equipped the kitchen was. There isn’t even a wire wisk. Every pan in the kitchen needs to be thrown out and replaced. The griddle is so badly warped that we couldn’t even cook anything on it because it wouldn’t heat evenly. Thank goodness fredmeyer is close by so we could go buy a griddle and other essentials to cook with. The driveway. It was noted that it was steep but that doesn’t even describe it. It was bad. The size and space of the house fit us well and we had a great weekend exploring but I would most definitely not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. I really don’t like to complain, but I feel future renters need to know.

Beautiful home, clean and really nice inside. Great hot tub. As mentioned in the description, the driveway is VERY steep but the parking area is flat. It’s obvious that this house is well cared for by it’s owners. The only negative experience that we had was that we were emailed the wrong access code to enter the house. We had to call to get the correct code, and following the poorly given instructions over the phone, it still took almost 45 minutes to access the house. This was a lack of communication problem from Vrbo, not meant to be a negative statement about this beautiful house.

The house was really clean. I just couldnt figure out 2 of the heaters downstairs and the bed killed my back , but i was the only one that seemed to have a problem with the hard beds. Other than that it was great!

Nice clean home. Beautifully decorated and stocked with the exception of a can opener. No big deal but would have been nice to have. The downstairs king bed is extremely hard. The dining chairs are also pretty uncomfortable. We played cards for hours and sat on pillows to make them comfortable. The dealbreaker for me when considering a return is the driveway. We left a Toyota Camry at the casino because the driveway is too steep and it scraped the front of the car on the way out.

We loved the quiet, forest like setting! Watched a young buck walk through the side yard this morning. We thoroughly enjoyed the open living space in the house...lots of room for everyone!

Our only complaint is the driveway. It is very steep and makes driving up and down it a little complicated but that was a minor detail. The house was very nice, in good shape, had everything we needed for sleeping and cooking accommodations. We were all very satisfied. One thing to be cautious of is bears. A bear was seen by one of our party knocking over the trashcan and taking off with a bag of garbage.

The perfect location, set-up and furnishings for our 3-generation family trip. Immaculate, well-equipped and location made it easy to go north and south for exploring. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub morning and night. Coffee on the deck and the grill for yummy burgers and salmon was a treat. Just a couple minor tweaks need addressed. The upstairs bathroom outlet wasn't functioning and no mirror in bedroom or loft for using hair dryer elsewhere. Couldn't get the right input on TV to watch any of the provided DVD, so dimple directions in notebook would be helpful. The trash cans in garage were all full from previous renters, except the bear-proof one that was roadside. We would definitely recommend this property and stay here again.

Great property and super clean. Loved the house and all the amenities. The only problem we had is the front door was really difficult to open and took us a long time to figure out. Something was wrong with the alignment of the door and lock, but once we got in it was a fantastic stay!
