Cozy Cottage Five

Take a step back in time and book a cozy getaway. Location is not on the water. The cottage is 1.4 miles from Kite’s Landing boat launch. Kite’s Landing has a $5 boat launch fee. Location provides plenty of parking space for your friends or your boat. Full kitchen with two bedrooms and one bath. Two porches to sit and relax with friends and family. Board games included for family fun! The cabin does NOT have wifi and there is low cell phone signal.

Cozy in All Ways

What a little gem the cottage is. It was perfect for our stay for fishing tournament on Toledo Bend. Plenty room for boat parking. Quiet area with firepit & deck space. I will defiantly be back! Property Manager was easy to communicate with & checked on us after arrival.

Relaxing

I arrived not knowing how stock the cabin would be. I brought paper plates & everything. I was very impressed that they were stocked. Although i do not sleep well in new environments, the bed, sheets & comforter was so comfortable. I dont get time to myself, but i was able to actually sit & enjoy a book on the porch. I was a lil disappointed about the rain, but I did bring games for the kids & they didnt even play with them cause the cabin was stocked with board games. Overall, very enjoyable even tho 1 of my kids got sick.

Couples getaway

This was a nice, and quiet place. We enjoyed the peacefulness and scenery. No luck with fishing but the dock was awesome. Recommend this place to others.

I was building a home nearby and the owner and her family were more than accommodating to me and my buiding crew. You can't go wrong with staying with Valerie or her family. They have a tight nit little community and it feels like home. If they had more than 5 stars they would have earned it!!!! Thanks Ladies for all of your welcoming hospitality!!

We where excited to visit Louisiana for the fist time, it was awesome to find a place reasonably priced. The property was very convenient for our fishing venture. Property owner and warred all the questions I had. Easy check in and out process as well. Will be back next year in may.

Awesome place with awesome amenities

Myself and nephew stayed here at the end of march and had a great time! Cabin was super clean and all kinds of extras. We were able to grill and watch the basketball game in the luxury of the country! Valerie was able to grant us access to a dock where we rode out a gnarly thunderstorm and my nephew caught a 5 lb bass! Valerie was an extremely attentive host! 5 out 5 stars and cant wait to stay here again!
