"Our one night stay at Sandrine's place was a lovely surprise; I wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was the best yet. The room was impressive. What looked like a regular apartment behind a fence turned out to be quite an amazing experience. The garden was lovely, the room amazing, and our host's knowledge of Aude region of France guided us to some sights we might not have otherwise seen. Truly wonderful. "

"The house is well-decorated, very clean, and home-like. The bathroom was clean (the small bathroom was separate from the shower and washing room) and I loved the airy feel of the hardwood floors. The dining room where we brunch was also welcoming. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They offered us a discount for tickets to see the castle. The breakfast served at the bed and breakfast daily is excellent and seems to consist of delicious homemade bread and other baked goods, a small tasty...

Owners Chris and Paul are just wonderful, we had a beautiful high ceilinged room. We enjoyed the beautiful pool to cool off in every day, and the lovely garden paths. Breakfast is great. Atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Great location. "

"The main house was absolutely beautiful! We stayed, however, in a beautiful, modern cabin across the courtyard but we had a fabulous breakfast in the dining room of the house. Next time, we will opt to stay in the main house because it is so beautiful and full of fabulous antiques. The host and hostess, Beatrice and Eric, were so friendly and welcoming. They welcomed our two little dogs who played with their puppy. We had a wonderful stay and will make a point to go back and stay longer."

"Had a lovely stay at La Betyna. Leila and Pasqal were great hosts, they provided restaurants and shopping recommendations in the Old City of Carcassone which is about 10-minute drive from hotel. Within walking distance theres the Chateau de Pennautier a winery-restaurants definitely worth a visit. Look forward to another stay at La Betyna."

"A very old and tired building. Proprietor spoke no English. Room was clean, bed linens were very nice. Bathroom was pretty new and acceptable. There are few choices in the town, so stay elsewhere."

"We liked the location as it is in town and near many vineyards and wine tasting venues. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without the great recommendations of things to do, where to go and places to eat by Andy and Dawn. The historic house had large rooms and a great pool for the kids."

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

The apartment we had was on the ground overlooking nature (with trails).well equipped: stove, diswasher, microwave, refrigerator At this timeof the year not too many people, so it was quiet. The snack bar was not open (only summer ) but we had excellent recommendations for restaurants near by. I understood that it is a place for families and long stay in the summer: beautiful lake, swimming, trails …,"
