“Annoying employee crossed a line in the pool area thinking she can tell me how to parent my children. They were jumping in the pool. No signs posted that they can’t. Diving and jumping feet first are 2 different things. They respectfully stayed from people while doing it. Employee explains to children they can’t and then came to speak to us. Despite disagreeing, we intended to do as she said. We acknowledged and told her we’d handle it. Employee continued to stand behind us hoovering until……

“There were multiple issues with the hotel. Some were outside of their control such as the power outage and the hour check in time from down systems after the power came back. There was only hot water on half of the time during my 3 day stay. The room cleaning was very minimal if they came in at all. On a positive note, the hotel has a very nice fitness center and the front desk staff were friendly.”

“Due to a flight and a long drive from ORD, I arrived at the Carmel ESA around 3:40 AM. There was a phone at the door, so I picked it up and dialed 1 for check-in service. It was a pleasant experience—the ESA service lady came out and opened the door to assist with my check-in. Thank you, ESA!”

“The hotel itself was nice however, the breakfast buffet that you pay for in your reservations on the site is not. And it is not kid friendly when you’re traveling with a nine and 10-year-old. Will not be back.”

“I was there for a night. My second room wasn't ready upon arrival but they were quick to get it set up for us. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. For what you pay, its worth it. Clean and no smells. ”

“The hotel room was excellent, clean with a comfortable bed and large clean bathroom. They were doing some renovations on the property and when they are done it should deserve 5 stars.”

“Our room wasn't ready when we arrived and it was 10 to 4 and check in is 3. The staff manning the desk when arriving could be more welcoming. How about a smile and welcome to wyndham or such. It was off putting when you are made to feel that it was our fault and we were an inconvenience that we had to wait for our room to be ready. I can't fault the cleanliest or the accommodations they were great. ”
