The property was fresh with lots of wood. Colors and art unique. Spacious rooms with lots of comfort, ie chairs to seat upon. Beds excellent. One minor complaint was the mini split hvac remote control very difficult to digest. Otherwise, one of the best stays ever.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Floyd. The hotel is well-located, a quick walk to the "downtown" area. Our room was large and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good. Prior to checking in, we visited the Floyd Art Museum. We were there on a Tuesday so caught the Tuesday Tunes at the Floyd Country Store, which was fabulous. Later, we drove a few miles to Buffalo Mountain Brewing. They had a good crowd for bingo but didn't stay long enough to participate.

Very clean room, grounds were very well kept, easy access to walk the town. Parking spaces are a little tight with the larger vehicles, ie trucks and larger suvs. Staff were friendly and helpful. AC was fine.

Was travelling on Blue Ridge Parkway and spent the day hiking in the Rock Castle Gorge. Floyd is closest town to the Gorge. Hotel Floyd is amazingly modern and clean hotel in a very small and charming hamlet of VA.
