Woomargama Village Hotel Motel

"This is a convenient overnight stop with a comfortable bed & good meal available at the hotel. The bathroom is old style with a shower curtain (which needed a clean) so water gets all over the floor (the shower curtain needs weights in the bottom to keep it from sticking to the person showering). The basin needs a decent clean also. Unusually on this stay we could smell sewer for about 30mins but it didn’t seem to be from our rooms bathroom. We hope one stay to have time to walk in the national park & this time we did drive to the Wambariga ‘Yambla View' Lookout which is great!"

"The motel room was lovely with all new fittings. Had a nice outlook over the golf course. The reception and main country club building is undergoing extensive renovations so not very pleasant in the car park or clubhouse. But it’ll be fabulous when construction is finished."

"I’ve stayed at this place before and had a great experience. This time I found the cleanliness of the room wasn’t as good. There had been someone with muddy boots in there previously and had left marks on the carpet which had not been cleaned properly. The sheets were clean but the bed had been made roughly with not all areas of the sheets tucked in. Disappointing considering how good my previous stay had been."

"Even though the weather was not great, the cabin was wonderful and well-fitted out. The grounds were really great for family fun and activities..especially the petting zoo. We are looking forward to coming again in warmer weather 😀"

"Cupboards too high for anyone under 180cms. The shower taps were dangerous as the locking handle was missing for one of the taps and handle prone to falling off when shower in use. Flies in room."

"For a budget motel the amenities were all in order (and must admit that in that price range I haven't come across too many lately that offer room service dinners - Indian food). Holbrook is a nice little town - very friendly."
