"An extremely beautiful hotel, built of stone, in the Greek style. Resting here, it is as if you fall into an interesting story. All the staff, especially Helen and Yanis, are very friendly. The food is extremely tasty and varied. Many thanks to the cook. There was always hot water, the rooms were constantly cleaned .We are very satisfied with our vacation at Village Stone. "Once you find the place, it is awesome. We ended up at the owner's restaurant and his son personally escorted us to the apartment. BTW, we ate at their restaurant in the village each of the 3 nights. The apartment is spacious, clean and quiet. We enjoyed hiking in the area. Thanks for your hospitality, George and everyone."

"very nice place, clean and quiet. Owner upgrade my room and I was very happy with accommodations. Nice pool area and 10 min walk to beach "

"The hosts welcomed us with local delicacies (food and drink). They were extremely reactive and helpful when we encountered a small problem during our stay.The house is located in a quiet area only 15’ from the airport and close to all comodities. Although it is at the vertical of the trajectory of planes landing in Heraklion, this was not disturbing. The home is well equipped with a lovely front garden and a very nice terrace upstairs."

"Very nice front desk people, also 24 hour front desk. Our room had a little private balcony which is nice (I think all do) pool was nice (open til 7 pm) . Parking on street was regular trying to find a spot but they have a private lot also but about 10-15 spots. About 5 min drive from airport and 5-10 min drive to the fortress/downtown. Nice quiet safe location. "

"my family of 4 (2 teens). we needed an short stay overnight to catch the ferry early morning. This was 8-10m drive to the port. it was spacious enough for what we needed. You are near the airport so planes can be heard above relatively loud and often but it did not impact our sleep. It was a short (2-3m) walk to many dining options for food or coffee as well. Would return."
