I will never forget #FoggDam, just off the Arnhem Highway, near Darwin - Australia. The amazing thing was that one can drive across the dam wall, seeing beauty in all directions; however, one could only stop in a few designated areas because of the risk of saltwater crocodiles. Well stop we did! I saw an abundance of flora and fauna. The birdlife was amazing, forever impregnated in my vision and not on my little iPhone. Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve lies in the Adelaide and Mary River Floodplains with year round accessibility. There are also some adjacent, designated walking tracks if one has time! For me, I spent my time looking for lillys and bird watching! This photo was taken mid May during a #roadtrip around the Top End of the #NorthernTerritory. #iPhoneonly

What a great place to capture the most amazing sunsets and reflections. Many photo opportunities in this area. Just beware of the crocs and check road closures due to flooding in wet season. Well worth the trip though #sunset #reflections
Pulled up to see a cormorant drying itself and there next to the car was a freshwater crocodile sunning itself Fogg dam in NT near Darwin. This area is a wetland with a wonderful array of different bird species.

"Pandanus Trees" I swam through the warm spring waters at #BerrySprings a few times and saw some awesome fish, as well as getting up close to these Pandanus trees hugging the creek banks. Berry Springs is about a one hour drive from Darwin. Easy for #waterlust-ing, #hiking, #picnicing, #relaxing and a pleasing place to visit on one's #weekendgetaway or #roadtrip. #Green
