Perfect for our large group

We had a great stay at Coastal Blue! Everything was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful property

House is well laid out with plenty of space for everyone without being on top of each other. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there - would definitely go back. Short walk to the beach- very quiet and peaceful.

Great value on Folly

Coastal Blue is a lovely home with a great view of the ocean across the street. Kitchen is top notch. Home comfortably handled our kids and the grandparents. We intend to stay again.

Great for a Beach Crowd

I booked this house for 9 people, all family ranging in age from 60 to my Mom of 97. We were three couples and three singles, plenty of rooms and baths to go around. The elevator was a god send for moving in and out and for my mom - the stairs may have done her in. The views are lovely, sitting on the upper deck with coffee was even better. Many of us walked the beach daily, and some even swam. This time of year the water was only 62 degrees. Beach access was just one house away so easily walkable from the house. Town was walkable too, I would say half a mile. Excellent location, lovely house with nice open floor plan for socializing.

Beware the fine print. Here are the worst terms:"Refunds, compensation, … are not available for housekeeping dissatisfactionAgent and Owner are not responsible for the working conditions or malfunction of any equipment such as but not limited to air conditioners, TVs, internet, sound systems, refrigerators, ovens, or ranges.Guest acknowledges Agent will not provide refunds, compensation, alternate accommodations, or discounts for … hurricane evacuations, natural disasters, …Agent reserves the right to substitute reasonably comparable accommodations without notice or liability”Key issues:1)When we arrived the garage smelled like death. The outdoor trashcans were overflowing. They did send someone to empty the trashcan, but that didn’t solve the problem as the trashcan was full of maggots and dirt at the bottom. It two more days for them to address that.2)They replaced the HVAC while we were staying there. People were working for a full day. They entered he bedroom while I was in the shower. I did not know they were there a walked out in my towel. I’m just grateful it wasn’t my wife in the shower.3)They provide the absolute bare minimum for supplies. They have a kitchen box with a mini dish soap, two dishwasher tablets and two laundry tablets for a week. Make sure you pack/buy all supplies you need in the house. They also discard any leftover coffee beans/salt/pepper etc, so do not expect to be able to find anything other than cooking dishes.

There was an issue with door code, but was worked out with secondary code. Pictures showed a fridge with ice/water so we assumed there would be a way to make ice. However, tge fridge had been replaced. There was a counter ice machine but it was moldy & there was no instructions on how to use. Would suggest ice trays for clients to make ice.

Charleston views

Enjoyed celebrating my son’s 21st birthday. Really enjoyed the location. The ocean views from the top floor were amazing!!! The only down l side was. The linens were not changed. There was a toe nail found by my sons pillow. Also, there were large palmetto bugs in the kitchen. 3 came out at once.

Peter’s Folly beach

Overall a wonderful unit. Clean, near the beach and lovely decks. However we were there during Helene. We lost power. We huddled together in 2nd floor bathroom. Disappointing that there were no flashlights, no batteries and no instructions on what to do in case of hurricane!!! Also bateries in tv remote were dead

Excellent location in Folly

This a great home for a large group. You can't beat the proximity to the beach, gorgeous views over the smaller houses, and the easy walking distance to town.

Folly Beach House

Went to SC for a girls trip and absolutely loved this house!! Location was perfect, house was beautiful, and had a great view. Driving into Charleston was was a breeze and very manageable. Folly Beach had a lot to offer as well. Would definitely book this house again!

Perfect vacation!

My husband and I took three of our adult kids and their spouses to Charleston on vacation. The 8 of us loved the house. It’s a VERY short walk to the beach, and the beach in this residential area is pristine but not at all crowded. Great location for Charleston tours too. The house is gorgeous and seems new. Master bedroom, plus 1.5 bats, kitchen, living room, dining room and outdoor balcony on top floor. Three bedrooms, a living room, a screened in porch and two baths on main floor. It was absolutely perfect. Quiet at night and great linens too. Not a huge thick comforter which would have been so hot. Loved it and will be back!!

Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay at this property. We had eight adults, and we had plenty of room. We liked how there were multiple places to gather, both inside and out on the porches. You can see the ocean from the kitchen and the upper porch! When you are facing the house, the lot to the right does not have a house on it, so this added some privacy. There is ample parking underneath the house. We enjoyed the bikes we rented with our rental credit. We often rode them to the main street for dinner. The house is a perfect distance away from all the action - maybe about 3/4 mile or so. And of course the beach was lovely! The public access is just a couple of houses down. The only thing we wished we had was a rug underneath the kitchen table to keep the chairs from dragging on the floor.

Great beach views and layout

There's a lot positive to say about this property, and unfortunately, one big negative. First of all, the layout of the home and the features/ design of the home are quite nice. We were also thankful for the elevator for luggage, groceries and elderly parents. Even though you're on the second row, there is a perfect ocean view and a wonderful deck to view it from. The beach access is super convenient! We rented bikes with the credit and enjoyed using them. Sadly we had a big issue with the quality of the beds / mattresses which affected our sleep and ability to enjoy the vacation in general. Between "doughy" mattresses, scratchy sheets that didn't fit properly and constantly came off at the corners, and flat pillows, my husband woke up with more pain as each day went on. Even one of our kids was mentioning back pain after a few days sleeping in the bunk room. I think if you're going to have a luxury beach rental, you should invest in quality beds / mattresses so at least your guests can sleep well. My husband also noticed that under our King bed, all the supports for the bed were twisted and not supporting the bed by touching the floor. The bed situation was bad enough that we actually stayed at a nice hotel in downtown Charleston for our last night just so we could have a good night's sleep. Also I thought the kitchen was about a 6/10 in terms of being well stocked compared to most we've experienced at this price point. However, it was a lovely home and had many things we appreciated.

Hidden Gem w/beach views!

Beautiful home with beach access across the street. Large screened in front deck and open air porch/deck with view of the ocean! Large family table and bar seating for all guests to eat together. Only downfall is only one full bathroom for three bedrooms to share. Two in-suite bathrooms. Shaded backyard with table (which we didn’t find til our last day)! Home had all needed kitchen amenities and starter kit for things like soap, laundry detergent, trash bags and toilet paper. Linens and towels provided. About 3/4 mile walk to downtown Center St. Highly recommend renting a golf cart for the week!

Family Fun Time

The property is in a fantastic location to easily access the beach and downtown Folly. The elevator was wonderful for our older family members. We loved that the outdoor shower had both hot and cold running water. Access to the gas grill allowed us to grill several of our meals without concern of running out of propane. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils. It was unfortunate that a couple of the guest beds downstairs were uncomfortably firm. A couple of bed toppers could easily fix that issue. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed our trip.

Perfect location!

We absolutely loved the house! It was perfect for 12 girls/ladies to celebrate our 88 year old mother. It is beautifully decorated and the elevator was a must! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Across the street from the beach

Absolutely beautiful home located just a short walk to the beach. Tons of space for a few small families to hang out and relax. If you plan on cooking bring everything you need as their supplies are very limited (no salt or other spices, or basic cooking essentials). Also bring your own beach towels, hair-dryer, trash bags liners, and soap and shampoo as none of those are provided either. Overall wonderful stay with great views and very convenient location to walk to downtown Folly for dinner/drinks. Highly recommend! Would stay again

Multi family vacation

We had two families and my mom stay over the weekend and we had such a nice time. The house has the best location- walking distance to town, directly across the street from the beach. All the rooms are spacious and we had plenty of room to gather in the main living area! House was clean; kitchen was sufficiently stocked.
