「Overall a vey high quality hotel. However, I had half board and although the quality of the food was excellent , I would have thought that dinner should give some options on the menu. They were happy to provide alternative if I had asked during the day. Butter should given with the bread instead having to ask each time. An additional cheese dish at 22 euros is a little expensive.」

Breakfast is a small selection but has great cakes and meat. Comfy bed and bath in room which is a must. Great to be able to make tea in communal area. 「Rappel : La Marmotte de la Meije est un gîte dont la clientèle est presque totalement faite d’adeptes de la rando pédestre ou cycliste. Octogénaire peu habitué à l’environnement spartiate des refuges j’étais une erreur de casting parmi les autres clients. 「Virkeligt dejligt sted, fyldt med atmosfære og hygge, værten meget imødekommende. Maden er super lækker og består at 3 retter på gourmet niveau, der er dog ikke valg muligheder. Rengøring er helt i top og sengende rigtig gode」

「The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good. There's a place to dry your boots and skis, which is nice. The nearest ski hill isn't always open and anyway it's only for experienced skiers, as it's "hors piste." That said, it's only 40 min from Serre Chevalier. The little town is cute. The bed was decent but not amazing. Would probably go back!」
