“We enjoyed our stay in our cozy room number 2 with an amazing view! After a short walk from the train station, we turned onto the passageway that led to the property. The passageway had 86 stone steps up to the property and then a metal staircase with 26 steps to our room. It was a workout to carry out luggage up the stairs, but the view was worth it! The trail to Corniglia goes right by the property which was fun. It was rainy when we left so we needed to be extra careful as we carried our……

“Place is in a middle of the mountain. Far away from the beach on a first picture which is very misaligning. The staff is unfriendly. They been rude to me because I made one load of laundry staying 5 nights and made me pay 10 euro for that. Also been telling me that I did two loads instead one. I refused to pay for something I didn’t use. It should be told during check in that there is additional charges for laundry. They did not change the towels at all, leak in a shower and staffed sink. “Great location in great view room is extremely small but certainly functional. The check-in process was a bit cumbersome and overdone. Compared to the other 12 properties I stayed at during this trip they request way too many forms and their ask for a high deposit is also out of line. However I would still say there are four star because of location and value”

“There is no front desk or staff available to help us with check in or carrying luggage up the stairs. We arrived after 7 pm. No one answered the bell that was in the directions and I didn’t realize that there was another set of instructions for later arrivals. A local helped us call the manager who gave us instructions for the keypad which was in a different building.
