“The property and location were lovely. We were welcomed by the owner of the property. Everything was prepared and clean. The room was lovely with beautiful views across the country side. We had tea/coffee and biscuits supplied in the rooms with fresh milk. The breakfast was all fresh. Cooked breakfast available in whatever format you requested. “The twin room offered a good sized space for a European property, but otherwise was very disappointing as it was shabby and dated. I knew from the pictures not to expect luxury but it was less attractive in person. The building had the feel of an old roadside motel and I would not have felt safe or secure there if I had been traveling alone. It's a bit confusing to find as there is no signage directing you where to check in. That ended up being with the bartender inside the pub who was quite……

“The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and offered advice about where to visit. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the same for when we went down for breakfast. We enjoyed breakfast very much, which was beautifully cooked and presented. To have parking at such a central location was great. We did have to play around getting out……

“Lovely room, clean with plenty of space. Very comfortable bed and everything provided that you would need. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This was despite the fact that they were dealing with flooding outside the pub following a storm.”
