“My children and I were extremely uncomfortable with this property due to the layout and what I believe were misleading descriptions and photos in the listing. Upon arrival, we were met with loud screaming, yelling, and arguing coming from the property. We could hear and smell everything from the main residence, and the odor was very strong and unbearable. As a parent, safety and suitability are very important to me, and we did not feel safe or comfortable staying. We left after about 15 minutes……

“We never met our host but he was very communicative and quick to answer the few questions we had. We were here only to sleep for two nights, as we were visiting family in Winter Park. The garden and patios were lovely and if we’d been there longer I would have enjoyed that space. We thought the living area (bedroom) was compact, but functional. "Dear Hotel Management, I am writing to complain about a wrongful, unexplained charge of $700 at check-out. I had already pre-paid $600 for my room online. At check-in, staff only mentioned an extra $200 would be required. But upon check-out, I was charged $700 with no reason or itemized breakdown provided. This is misleading and unprofessional. I demand that you immediately clarify what the $700 covers, reverse any incorrect charge, and issue a full refund for the overpayment. I expect a clear reply and resolution within 24 hours. "The only positives of this hotel are its convenient location and low price — unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The room itself had multiple issues: stained pillows, a leaking refrigerator, and a noticeable musty smell throughout the room. However, the most unacceptable part of the stay was the housekeeping service. During room cleaning, the staff knocked over everything that was placed on the countertop, left the mess as it was, and failed to collect the trash altogether. This showed a clear lack of care and professionalism. While this hotel may appeal to budget travelers looking only for location, the poor room condition and especially the careless housekeeping made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating. I would not choose to stay here again."
