"Sit by the River, listen to the birds, watch the eagles, feel the breeze, and have access to lots of great restaurants, all kinds of music, shopping and historic sites. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, wi-fi and Roku TV. Very clean, and if you’re lucky you might get to meet a sweet dog named Finn. If you want an “upscale” resort with amenities this is probably not your spot, but we LOVED it! Thanks, Anthony for being a thoughtful host. 😊"

"My husband and I needed a few days of quiet and solitude and Janet and her cottage were perfect in every way! The covered porch made for a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy the rain and the birds singing. The bed was so comfortable, the kitchen provided what I needed to cook (one of my ways to unwind), the fireplace was a great addition...Janet thought of everything. The property and the cottage exude peace...just what we needed!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The host was super accommodating and responsive. We spent most of our time out by the lake. There is very limited fishing due to some type of fish that eat everything (clearly not the fisherman) there was swimming for the kids and other water activities which was great."

"The house is extremely unique with a ton of attention to details. That is true for the house and furnishings but also in the way the house is stocked. Unlike other places where you can’t find spare toilet paper this one has everything you need and things can actually be found. No question I would recommend this property to others."

"This little house is full of wonderful surprises! This rental has EVERYTHING you need and more! The warm welcome left on the counter was so thoughtful. Everything inside has been immaculately decorated and incredible attention has been given to detail throughout. SUPER clean, and the heated floors in the bathroom and sunroom were such a luxury, especially while enjoying morning coffee. I hope to be able to stay here when in the area again."
