Redwood Retreat

Very nice accommodations in the redwoods with a complete kitchen, comfortable beds, and a relaxing end of the day hot tub. We enjoyed our stay at Hazel’s Hideaway!

Great redwood getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to relax at the end of our days wine tasting by sitting around the fire or in the hot tub on the deck that is nestled in the redwood forest!

Wonderful Stay!

Would stay again! We had a great experience and enjoyed our time in the Russian River Valley area! Hazel's Hideaway had everything we needed and was within close driving distance to a ton of attractions. We stayed in the early Spring and there was still a ton we could do - I can't even imagine this area in the summer!

Relaxing in the redwoods

We spent two full days of activities. Going to Goats beach and Armstrong state park (great like Muir woods but less crowded) very enjoyable with the hot tub in the evening.

Great Weekend Away

This cabin is located just off the main road in a perfect location, that it’s super easy to get to the river travel and to the coast and eat at nearby towns. It’s updated and has a great feeling to it. I will be booking again.

Great vacation house!

Cozy, hip and welcoming! Bonus bedroom/bath downstairs stayed warm all night. The kitchen was cute, modern and well equipped with extras like Peet’s coffee, ziplock bags, seasonings for cooking, etc. Fire pit table and hot tub was very enjoyable on a chilly night under the trees. Will return for sure, would love to experience it during the summer months and swim at the nearby beach! Thanks

Awesome woodland getaway on the river

Had a great time relaxing near the river with this wooded hideaway. Between utilizing the grill, hot tube, outdoor space, and provided games and puzzles, our group had an awesome and relaxing time. Very close proximity to the river as well as great wineries and breweries (Russian river brewery is less than 8 miles away and Russian river winery is also super close, both have great food/beverage choices). 10/10 experience. Only downfall was the canoe rentals don’t start till Memorial Day.

Hazels

6 of us with a dog stayed over Christmas. The location was great. Easy to find. 15 minutes from my daughter’s house in Sebastopol. The house was clean, very tidy. Coffee was provided which was a bonus. We lacked for nothing since we brought our food. The shower was great. We did not get to use the lovely patio or spa since it rained but would have been a great place to relax and read and entertain. Cannot wait to rent Hazels Hideaway again in the Summer months.

November Girls Trip Getaway

My friends and I had a great stay at Hazel's Hideway. The whole process of booking and checking in was straight forward and seamless. The place was clean, well stocked and nicely decorated with comfy beds. We did need a light bulb replaced for the basement room entry, but they were very responsive and quick to resolve the need. Hot tub was clean and worked great. The only negative was the basement bathroom shower has lower water pressure and didn't have a sink included. There is one nearby in a utility/wash room off the bedroom though, but could use a shelf for toiletries. Overall, it was a great find and I'd look up Hazel's again if I return in the future.
