Perfect retreat location

The cabin was cozy and perfect for out vision of board games and going for a float on the river. I didn't even realize the hosts generously provided tubes when I booked!Check in and check out were simple and the thoughtful choices in furniture, decor, and tableware all added to an ideal weekend. Would gladly book again

Perfect family getaway

We had a real mix of guests in our party, the super active ones loved the trails & yoga on the deck. The more laid back loved the comfy sofas, book shelves and the great kitchen!

Beautiful Experience near the Russian River

The home was lovely. Very welcoming and comfortable. The sense of peaceful openness and serene surroundings were what we were looking for and we found it here! We fortunately had a smaller vehicle ... the streets to the house are quite narrow.

Gets better every visit!

Our stay at the cabin felt luxurious! The new deck, the new deck furniture, the ever expanding range of kitchen equipment were so thoughtfully added. And along with all the regular wonderful things like the crisp sheets, fluffy towels, awesome entertainment options and space for workouts and lots of chill time, this place just gets better and better. Thank you for a wonderful few days!

Tranquil weekend

Wonderful vacation home.

Beautiful accommodations. Hosts have provided everything you need for a comfortable vacation. Close to wineries, interesting towns, & Armstrong Woods. Surrounded by nature, we saw deer in the backyard several times.

Loved this house!

This house was perfect for our girls trip. We loved hanging out on the deck with our morning coffee and after our day of wine tasting. I’d love to come back to this house with my family.

Charming remodeled cabin with nice amenities (linens, electronics, etc.) and treetop feel. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishware and cookware. The road is VERY narrow and VERY winding. Larger vehicle will have difficulty, but the GPS coordinates will get you there. Cell service drops off main road, so download beforehand. Good WiFi in house.

This is a beautiful cabin. I had a wonderful weekend there. It’s a perfect location which is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches. Waking up there feels like you’re just surrounded by trees. It’s incredibly peaceful and serene.

Cozy and relaxing

If you want a quiet and comfortable getaway in the woods, this is an excellent place. Plenty of space for a larger family or group. Beautiful home with cozy rooms and a kitchen stocked with supplies for cooking meals. Fireplace and projector TV along with provided games made for cozy and fun evenings! Neighbors were friendly and atmosphere was very serene.

Stunning house surrounded with redwood trees

This beautiful and very well designed house on a hill top gave a complete tree house experience as redwood trees were at eye level!! Extremely cosy setup with all gadgets and amenities besides fun books and games. Russian River is walkable distance. We had an enjoyable stay and highly recommend it.

Great Getaway in the Redwoods

Felt like a home away from home - every thing we look for in a vacation rental. Great kitchen setup, comfortable beds, quiet and blackout curtains! The hosts were very considerate with all the amenities - wifi, washer/dryer, A/C, towels, soaps, even a vitamix! We hope to return and spend even. More time exploring the coast, the wineries and the quaint town of the Russian river valley.

Cozy and Comfortable

Great property for a girls' weekend in the Russian River area. The house is cozy, clean and quiet. It's in a beautiful location in the trees. The house slept me and four of my girlfriends comfortably. The kitchen was spacious and bright, living area comfortable for hanging out, and we loved having drinks on the back deck after a day of canoeing on the Russian River. Beautiful spot - I'll be back!

Epic Stay as always!

This is my third time staying at the Redwood Retreat and my wife’s second time. Every visit has been an improvement on the last. The owners are diligent in improving the experience every time. The new fire pit, side sitting area, and improved path to the river are all great additions to an already amazing property! Feel free to explore their amazing and eclectic record collection, read some of the great books they have on their spacious deck, and use their tubes for en epic float down the river! The cabin is a quick drive away from great wineries. Brew pubs, and entertainment, and only a 20 min walk from the Russian River pub which came in handy this trip. We will be back again and again! Thank you!

Beautiful home

This home is incredibly beautiful, down to every detail. It’s clear that the owners put a lot of intention in to creating a comfortable sanctuary. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware. There is a lot of space for 6 people and the house is nestled in the trees so there is a lot of privacy. It was really nice to wake up and look out in to the forest. It’s a good location for getting to the river as well as downtown guerneville. I would definitely come back!

Great home near the Russian River

My friends and I had a great stay at this home near the Russian River. The kitchen had great serving platters and cookware, including access to the grill. We enjoyed our meals on the porch and watched a movie one evening using the projector. Of note, the room that is displayed in photos in the listing that has the desk and bench was locked and was unaccessible during our stay. The kitchen is also slightly more updated, with an induction stove top.

Nice, quiet spot in Sonoma County!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our scenery among the redwoods! The place was amply stocked with kitchen tools and tv equipment. We felt very comfortable with 4 of us staying in the house for 5 nights. We wanted a quiet, serene spot and this delivered! Wifi worked great, no issues there. We loved our time doing drinks and dinner on the patio among the trees, delightful end to wine tasting days! First drive up to the house was a little unnerving, but once you do it once and learn the route you become accustomed to it! Would recommend, especially for those doing wineries toward Forestville and Westside Road.

Absolutely enchanted by our stay at this charming cabin in California's wine country! Nestled amidst rolling vineyards stunning hills, and magnificent red wood forests. This cabin offered both tranquility and luxury. The interior was beautifully appointed, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Cozy fireplace, plush furnishings, and a fully equipped kitchen made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, just a short drive from some of the best wineries, delightful restaurants and spectacular redwood forests. It was a short walk to the communities quaint beach to catch some rays, swim, paddle board, or relax on the lazy river. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming, providing local recommendations that truly enhanced our experience. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, this cottage is a gem. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommended for anyone seeking adult time away or family fun. Truly a destination that fits all adventures!
