Well the view is amazing and the location is perfect the apartment has its own laundry and vacuum which with a 1 & 3 year old came in super handy But to be fair this little unit is a smidge over priced for value. To start with it needs AC it was only reaching 20 degree days and it was humid in the mornings and ice cold at night, The laminate floors in the kitchen aren’t level and are starting to peel you feel like your walking down hill going from the table to the fridge and you can see where they have used tape to stick them down in the past, the dishwasher was broken, the walls need some TLC and the bathroom has water damage and peeling paint not to mention minimal water pressure in the shower. The light fittings were also rusting and the blinds in the back room have some mould on them. We couldn’t use the garage thanks to someone locking their bike to the fence so we were unable to make the turn in without the risk of damaging our car so we had to park on the street, The beds and mattresses are ok but they are old The master bed has a nice lean to the edge on it so you feel like your going to fall off. The bunk beds Are very noisy and you feel like your sinking in the middle. I really hate being so negative but I expected a slightly more updated and well maintained apartment with nicer beds and working appliances for the price. All in all though we had an amazing time at Forster and despite the forecast of rain we actually had beautiful weather 75% of the time so we didn’t spend much time in the apartment at all. It’s the perfect location to set up base and go explore, The kids loved the balcony and the beach. Thank you for having us but I’m not sure we would stay in this unit again.
