Beautiful kept secret
I wanted to keep this a secret as to how perfect this house is but I figured I should share. I came with my two girlfriends to spend time together for an early birthday getaway. The home was clean, spacious and decorated just my style. It had everything to create meals and we did eat in for dinner and breakfast. My favorite part was watching the surfers out the front while we did a bit of yoga after coffee!

Paradise view
the house was well equipped. I was happy to find the stair gait hidden in the closet, it could be a life saver. I feel that A note should be posted on that closet door so that people realize it is there, we had a great stay.

Small but nicely appointed place
Great ocean view and walk to an ocean trail. The place is very clean, newly remodeled. The shower stall is unusually short and it gets quite hot in the afternoon, or I would have given five rather than four stars

Great view and short walk to the ocean and trail
Clean, pleasant and quiet. Gets very warm inside during the afternoon, so be prepared to open windows and turn on fans (provided). Clean ocean air to breathe, and a short walk to the coastal trail for walks and bike rides.

Had a great stay at this property. The location was convenient for our interests: walking along the headlands, visiting Fort Bragg and hiking in the nearby state parks. There was a nice welcome basket and the place was very clean.

Girls trip
We made a quick trip to coast to meet up with friends. We felt very safe at the property. Everything was clean and well maintained. We only would request two things… a top sheet on the beds and one of the beds needs a new mattress desperately. We laughed about every time one friend would move you could hear the old springs squeaking. The other mattress was fine. It was a great location to be able to walk to the beach.

Sweet property just at the edge of town
Property was lovely. Apple trees and good space for the kids to ride bikes and run around. House got hot in the afternoon but cooled down nicely once the sun went down. House not built for tall people. Easy bike ride to the beach and bike path. Quiet area. Would recommend for families.

Cozy little treasure!
Super cute upstairs attic apartment. Loved the views out the large front windows. It was perfect for 2 people. Ocean was close and walking to the beach was very easy down the path. Felt like being at a private beach most of the time! We went in July so the apartment heated up by late afternoon. Having a couple of standing fans would of been perfect for air flow. It was quite hot in the bedrooms. This is an attic so if you are a tall person the shower may be a bit small for you in the bathroom. Otherwise all else was cute & modern. Hot water does take a while to come up to the apartment especially in the kitchen. A hot water on demand unit would be perfect under the sink! We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Esta and would stay again!

Just What We Were Hoping For
The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment about a quarter mile from the beach. Just outside the Ft. Bragg city limits, but only 5-10 minutes to reach the restaurants downtown and Glass Beach. We went out to eat thr first night and stayed in and cooked for ourselves the second. The only unpleasantness we encountered was a sort of greasy smell in the garage wafting up the stairs when the door was left open. And one little mystery: there is an outlet in the living room with a switch above it where there would normally be another outlet. What the heck is that for?

Fort Bragg Perfection!
This little gem is the perfect place for a relaxing stay in Fort Bragg. Located just outside of town, down a street with no close neighbors and a spectacular ocean view. Me and the hubs enjoyed watching sunrises and sunsets from the ocean view picture windows, taking walks on the trail, and truly unwinding from all the stress in our lives. . We were lucky to meet the property owner and learn more about her childhood home! Take the time to read the home's history in the binder. It's a very sweet story!

The home was lovely! Spotless, unobstructed view of the ocean, gorgeous sunsets, comfortable beds. We recommend this adorable stay for anyone looking for a peaceful beach stay in Fort Bragg. The kitchenette needs a new can opener and teapot. It’s otherwise, perfect <3

Home Town Memories
This trip was a return home to place my parents ashes into their final resting spot. Our family home had been sold so for this trip I wanted to be close to the ocean like our families home was. I searched for one where I could hear the ocean waves crashing on the shore like I did growing up. This rental was perfect. I felt at home the second I walked in. I even laughed learning I was in my HS math instructors residence. If your looking for a relaxing trip with walking distance to the beach and town I 100% recommended renting this coastal retreat.

Great Family getaway
The property was beautiful! My son loved walking around and walking to the beach. They had bicycles and fun outdoor games. The kitchen was small but perfect for the 3 of us. The only issue we had was a plumber came out and was there for half the day turning the water on and off and he had a key so he opened the door at one point and woke up our son from his nap. He was very nice and considerate but he did not know we were staying there and we weren't notified he would be coming. I wish we would have been told of this scheduled appointment. Other then that I would not change a thing! We are grateful to have stayed in your childhood home and we hope to come again.

Great little get away.
Enjoyed our stay with great views. House was near town and plenty of restaurants. Easy trail to a great beach. Owners were actually there that week and they were an extreme joy to meet and very helpful and curtious of our privacy. Would stay again.

A Perfect Choice
Sea Esta was near perfect! We thought it was very convenient location and very clean. The beds were amazing and the linens were soft and comfy. The living room was very comfortable and we were able to enjoy the view and the TV. We never went to the beach from the house because we spent our days at state parks which were on the coast. The hosts were gone while we were there, but it would have been fine if they were home. Regulating the temperature was a minimal challenge. When we arrived, it was 77* because of the afternoon sun streaming through the lovely windows. We opened the windows and it was comfortable within minutes. We balanced the temperature with the windows and the gas stove. This is not the fault of the owners; it’s just the reality of the complex coast climate. The only suggestions: a cutting board and a few more spices ( we are used to having more staples available). We will definitely book again. Thank you Sea Esta!

Great place with a few things to consider
We loved staying here, major pros include: Beach is walkable and is not trespassing as mentioned in another review, nice location, very clean and everything is new, great view. Things to keep in mind, temperature maintenance here is difficult because the heater isn't great and the air flow is kinda odd between the rooms, we were either hot or cold. Also the stairs are precariously close to one of the bedrooms so staying here with a small child or elderly is not advisable honestly. Overall, would rent again.

Clumsy glass coffee table. Very dusty washer and dryer. Washer water was shut down. Dryer missing knob, not working. Full size bed not comfortable, blanket heavy and not warm! Kitchen has no dishwasher and the hot water not working properly! It is said waking distance to beach, NO WAY! There is private property, you dare not trespass! There is no staying manual to give you a phone number to contact for any issues you may have. This place needs a lot improvement.

We have replaced the coffee table. The washer, dryer, and dishwasher are not listed amenities for guest use. The mattresses are in good working order, but each guest has their own unique preference. Our beds are queen-sized and brand new. We apologize for any confusion but we do let guests know that there is beach access available. We also send a confirmation and check-in email with our contact information in case guests have concerns. Along with a welcome text so that guests have easy access to us. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again very soon.

Perfect location!
We had a wonderful stay at Sea Esta. They had lawn games, easy access to the ocean and amazing views. We could watch whales spout from the condo and saw deer in the yard most mornings. The kitchen had almost everything we needed to eat almost every meal in. We would definitely stay here again.
