Once upon a time the sand was coated in brightly colored bits of sea glass, and social media is full of photos that make it look as if the sand still looks that way, but that isn't the case. Over the years the public has raided the beach of much of its glass. Now at first look, some might say it looks like any other ordinary beach. The cheak in was great. She was so nice. But the rooms smalled like cat pee. I ended up get my air freshener clip from the car and put it in the room. I was able to sleep. And it doesn't smell any more

Staff was very pleasant - apologized for having to clean the room because someone had smoked in it, despite the "no smoking" policy. Mattress is very soft and uneven, staying on the bottom floor means lots of noise from upper neighbors walking around.

You know you are staying in budget hotel but really, the location is great. Parking plentiful. TV great and we were able to use our own login. Towels are horrible. Bring your own. We had a terrible stay in May of 2025 after years of staying. Motel 6 is so good for dog owners but in May Noisy, drug users in the hotel, etc. super hesitant to go back back knew the construction was complete so decided. Glad we did.

It was really fine, but they didn’t have any extras and the bed was very uncomfortable. I woke up with a terrible backache. It was a convenient location and of course inexpensive compared to other places.

Honestly, in the past, this motel has been known for some sketchy stuff, but I think this place has really turned itself around. It is extremely clean through when we stayed in was really nice. The staff were super nice. There was just something wrong with our air conditioner, but other than that, it was a really pleasant day. Seems like they’re starting to upgrade some stuff around the property and it’s starting to look really nice.

I have stayed at this Motel 6 before; granted, It's been a while, however, it was the most uncomfortable bed, I've ever slept on and the room Itself, needs to be updated. I know being right there on the ocean. It's hard because of the seawater. However, this place looks really run down. The staff in the office was really great and helpful. I guess if you have dogs it's a good place to stay cause. You don't have to worry about ruining anything. I noticed a few homeless people staying in some rooms and hanging out, which made me kinda nervous. I've stated other motel sixes that are on the water, such as in Cambria, California, and it is so nice.

Best price for the area that I found when I went. Convenient to find. With walking distance of a Safeway for shopping. Relatively clean and very comfortable. Had a microwave and fridge, which helped with my meal planning for road trip. Front desk personnel were polite and easy. Would recommend.

Cozy room, courteous staff

This is a great motel, for its type. Affordable (I've been looking... this is the best rate in town!), comfortable, and the staff is both attentive and helpful. One can tell from the decor that the place has had "snazzier" days, and since the restaurant, pool, an meeting hall are actively under restoration (closed for now) it's apparent that the company still cares about this place. The location is primo... the whole town is in walking distance, with a Safeway two blocks down, in case you need snacks, toothpaste, or a bottle of wine. Since the motel's layout is in a courtyard format, Highway 1 (Main Street) is barely a whisper. Glass Beach (gorgeous!) is a pleasant 20 minute hike, and Noyo Harbor, with its quaint-but-posh restaurants is 10 minutes walking. WiFi is solid, bathroom clean, and the cleaning staff is as nice as the office folks. I'll definitely say here again..
