Amazing experience

Absolutely beautiful!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had a breathtaking view! Keep your eyes open for some dolphins. Communication was wonderful and everything we needed was provided. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to come back.

Lovers Key Resort PH1

Fabulous condo!! Only one operating elevator in building which makes for long waits. Only few pool chairs in mid March with full sun. Very friendly staff!

The View

We were popping into town to see our daughter & our usual place still hasn’t recovered from Ian. This place did not disappoint. The view filled my soul. I watched the sun rise every day. It was impeccably clean & had anything you could ever need. We will be back!!

The condo is so pretty and we saw dolphins from our balcony! It’s exactly as the pictures show. The building is still undergoing some renovations, but it didn’t impact our stay. There is only 1 restaurant and the wait is very long, so I’d recommend making reservations at least a day ahead or head into Bonita Springs or Fort Myers Beach for more options.

Overall our stay was enjoyable. The suite was beautiful yet the area to relax was not so comfortable so we ended up laying on the bed to watch some television in the evening. No streaming was a big disappointment. Highly recommend the owner offer the apps so tenants can at least login to their own accounts when want no to chillax.

Winter get away

This condo is both elegant and comfortable. I loved watching the gorgeous sunrises over the Bonita Springs skyline and dolphins and shorebirds near the mangroves. The kitchen has an abundance of dishes, pots and pans for cooking. If you prefer to go to Flippers next door, plan to go early or wait even if you have called ahead to get on the wait list. I enjoyed the heated pool but the hot tub was blocked off due to construction. The building is still under renovation so there was a lot of construction noise 8-5.

Love lovers key

So this property is in a great location, it is just 2 minutes by car to lovers key beach and all day parking is only 8, they want 20-30 at Ft Myers. I know the listing says you can walk but there is construction currently that prevents you from walking. When it’s done you can walk directly from the property under a bridge and onto the beach. We spent so much time there in the month we stayed. The room has 2 chairs and an umbrella you can use which was nice. The pool is great and you have an excellent view of the bay. Speaking of the bay we could see it (as well as the ocean) from our balcony and we saw dolphins and manatees daily. We watched a rainbow form over the bay that lasted for about an hour the first day we were there. I would suggest going into Bonita springs for food as the restaurants along the beach are outrageous. We were able to get around easily and since we were there in June there were very few people and minimal traffic. Most days at the beach we felt like we had the place to ourselves. There were a few times I contacted management and they always responded quickly. I would recommend this property especially in the off season lol I can’t stress just how few people we had to share with.

Beautiful Condo - still in recovery mode.

This was by far the nicest, cleanest and most up-to-date VRBO in which I have ever stayed and I have stayed in several. The area and the building housing this unit are still very actively recovering from Hurricane Ian. The condo’s windows were covered in a blue film that protected them from some active recovery work…another resident said the windows all had to be resealed. This limited the view that I wanted since I paid for a Penthouse unit. The common areas of the building are still rough, and there is some construction noise during the weekdays. It is really good to see the area recovering, and I knew when I booked that there were still issues for the area. I wanted to give it 5 stars because the unit itself was so clean and well done but I expected to see out of all the windows… Also, get reservations ahead of time for the restaurant, Flippers. It was very good but it is hard to get into as it is very popular. There is not much close - this is a pretty remote spot, especially since Ian.

Just a very nice place! We traveled to FM to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Clean and modern. Layout was perfect, centrally located to beaches and nightlife. Would definitely recommend.

A DREAM STAY

Staying at Lovers Key PH 1 was a dream come true. The property is stunning, with beautiful landscaped gardens and elegant interiors. Our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style, with breathtaking views of the Gulf and the bay. Management of the property were attentive and super friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. We enjoyed a romantic dinner (10 steps next door) at “Flippers” (amazing by the way) where the ambience and cuisine were simply divine. The pool and spa (open 24/7) area was a perfect spot to relax and unwind, with attentive service and you can bring your own cocktails! That’s a plus. Every aspect of our stay was flawless, and we left with cherished memories. Lovers key PH 1 is a MUST-VISIT for anyone looking for an exceptional experience. This a a definite 10 out of 10. We will be back!

Loved the condo!! The owner did an amazing job on the remodel, has an eye for design and decor!! The resort is busy with construction to get the property back to pre- hurricane status!! There is also highway construction!!

Ideal stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily rent again. The views are spectacular. Although the condo primarily faces the coastal waterway and mangroves, the Gulf and beach are also visible. Lots of natural light without the heat of the afternoon sun. Large windows and a nice deck for watching boats, birds, manatees, dolphins, and afternoon storms. (And occasionally the alligator in the pond next to the entry road.) The location is particularly nice. A two-minute drive to Lover's Key beach accesses and kayak rentals, short drives to Ft. Myers Beach (closest Publix) and Bonita Springs, and a 45-minute drive to Sanibel and Captiva. The condo, building, and pool area were immaculate. The kitchen is well equipped. The instructions were thorough and helpful. The wifi worked well. We did not use the TV. Two minor issues...there was a small glitch with the unit's key code, but the property manager for the unit responded and resolved the issue promptly. The hot water had an unpleasant odor when we arrived; running it for a while cleared it up. Hated to leave. All in all, just a great place to stay.
