Perfect Escape

We had the best weekend at the Happy Glamper in Fort Payne! The RV was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the cozy touches of home. We loved sipping coffee on the deck, cooking together, and relaxing with a movie at night. Peaceful, fun, and the perfect escape—highly recommend!

Sweet home away from home!

We had the extreme pleasure of being a guest at Happy Glamper RV ! We had a delightful stay! The RV is said to stay 2 guest but could accommodate 2 children if necessary. The owners are extremely pleasant. Upon arrival we found the RV homey and a sweet home away from home. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Peaceful Retreats Properties to anyone. In love with the magic of these mountains!

PERFECT!!! LOOKED JUST LIKED THE PHOTOS, VERY CLEAN!! SUCH A SERENE PLACE!! CLOSE TO BEAUTIFUL WATERFALLS AND MUST SEE PLACES NEAR BUY. MISTI, THE HOST, IS VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. The view from this property was peaceful and relaxing. The extras that welcomed us made us feel special The area outside was large enough that we could play catch and cornhole games. The inside was inviting and cozy. Misti and David were awesome, giving us a little background history of the area. We would recommend this for a relaxing get-away.

Love this space!

This glamper is my favorite place to stay in the mentone area! Misti and David have done a super job making this so comfortable and pampered. The outdoor space couldn't be better! And the comfort of the bed...it is the only place we have stayed where our back doesn't hurt! From the privacy of the mountain to the sounds of nature you will leave refreshed and renewed!

Just what we were looking for!

We never even left the site. Perfect place, especially in the fall, to enjoy the simple life in the outdoors. Camper was clean and stocked well, and the communication with the hosts was fantastic. Highly recommend!

We loved the firepit on the big deck!

We absolutely loved this camper and its surroundings!! The firepit on the big deck was so nice for smore making with the kids. Everything was very clean, there were plenty of amenities and cookware for cooking. The bed slept very well. Such a peaceful place to stay while we explored and swam during the day!!

Wow!

We loved the glamper. This was our second time to stay there, and it was just as wonderful as the first! It was rural and secluded but the road is paved and smooth. Felt like we were a million miles away from our troubles. It was so peaceful and quiet. Although the owners were in the building behind us, we didn’t see or hear them! (Unless I was chatting them up. lol.) Awesome owners and an awesome rental. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy this haven away from home!

Perfect spot

The property is such a great location. Beautiful, serene, picturesque, and relaxing. Perfect ambiance. Background songs of birds, frogs, and sheep while enjoying the fireplace on the deck. The glamper has the most comfortable bed we have every experienced while away from home. Including the pillows. Amenities are highest quality. The host David and Misti are the sweetest! We highly recommend this location and Peaceful Retreats!

A needed retreat in early spring!

Our stay was an amazing retreat from the busyness of every day life. We were able to focus on rest, renewal, and re-energizing. We were able to cook meals at our leisure, sit on the large deck with wine or coffee wrapped in soft blankets in front of the fire while the conversation flowed uninterrupted. Even the day it did rain was a perfect melancholy day here! If you need a place to escape from the hustle and bustle, forget about the clock, and to reconnect this is the place to be!

Peaceful stay

I really enjoyed my experience with Peaceful Retreats. I can’t think of a nicer welcome than the 2 fawn on the road as I drove up to the RV. The Happy Glamper RV was exactly as described and very clean. I’m a fan of the no shoes inside rule. Misti was is the most informative Host and one of the best communicators I have ever stayed with. I had an awesome weekend!

Perfect Retreat

The Happy Glamper RV was great! It’s spacious, has great cooking options, plus wifi and a Roku tv. We loved the deck with built in fire pit. It’s very private but also super convenient to Little River Canyon and De Soto State Park. Misti and David were so nice and helpful!

Amazing!

We absolutely loved the secluded, beautiful landscape around us. The temp was cooler than at home. The trees were beautiful. The camper was so comfortable and decorated so cute. It had everything we needed! We could tell the owners really love this place - and so do we! We sat outside in the dark and watched the lightning bugs dance in the words. That was an incredible sight! Our dogs soaked up the outdoors and loved every minute of it! Thank you for all you did to make our experience magical!
