"Every thing was very nice, Staff polite and very helpful, rooms are good size, Location good , Beach across street , but not easy paths to enter. Rooms could use freshing up but all in all very nice Hotel. Would recommend highly."

"The view of the lake upon waking was magnificent. The location is ideal for cycling to the beach. The accommodation is perfect for two people, and pets are welcome. The opportunity to go kayaking and cycling is a major plus of this place.The only downside was the noise coming from the north, which was very intense, even at night. The noise level varied depending on the wind direction. I was unable to identify the source of the noise."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hero Beach. The location is perfect - the beach is right across the street and town is less than a ten-minute walk. The beach loungers and umbrella were a great convenience. The hotel itself was clean and the room was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were also lovely - we appreciated the firepits and lots of areas to hang out and relax. Was a little expensive, especially after Labor Day, but we really enjoyed the stay!"
