Nice but no cigar

The room was nice, great bed, great view. Problem was the room had been smoked in and was very overwhelming. Vacasa corporate was very responsive but no response from local management during our entire stay. Please, if you smoke and there is a balcony, SMOKE OUTSIDE and don’t ruin it for the next couple renters.

Smelled terrible

The roomed smelled like a smokey bar. It’s says none smoking but that’s not the case. There were 2 air fresheners that were empty and a room air purifier that didn’t not help. I asked for someone to contract me about it and that never happened. I was told on my initial complaint that other residents smoke therefore it travels to the other properties. We spoke with several other guests poolside and NONE experienced this problem.

Perfect room for 2!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in September. The room was in the perfect location, lovely view of the water, you can drive right down the main street to Destin and do so many fun activities and eat at great restaurants along the way! Comfy bed, very clean, had everything we needed, even more than a hotel provides. I also love that the door has a keypad so you don’t have to worry about forgetting your room key. My only suggestions would be to get a new couch because it’s worn down and the closet door is broken. Oh and the room needs a dust pan because I was constantly trying to sweep up sand in the room. Also we heard the balcony door above us open and close over and over again which was a little annoying. Other than those small complaints I absolutely loved the room and would stay again! It was cool, comfortable, and safe.

The home was very clean and comfortable. There was a slight smoke smell at times but nothing too bad at all. I would recommend to bring extra pillow only because I like a lot of pillows and there was only the two. And maybe a throw for the very comfortable leather sofa while watching tv. It was a great experience with excellent customer service from Vacasa also. I highly recommend.

It served its purpose....

It was comfortable, showers were good, other guests and the building were pretty quiet. We just wish it didn't smell like cigarettes. That .are it a three star instead of a four or five. Also the small throw rug was very dirty (balcony deck was quite dirty, no doubt that dirt got tracked in).

Great Getaway

Vacasa ensured we had everything we needed from check in to out. The condo was clean and had fresh towels and sheets. The only negative feedback is that the room smelled of lingering smoke for most of our stay. There was a odor neutralizer that helped and I forgot to mention to the agent when I called. Still a 5 star getaway!

Rocky check in. Lost private beach

Checkin was rocky at best. The code we were given wouldn’t work, and it took 50 minutes of standing at the door with our belongings in high 90 degree weather waiting for management to get us a new code. The studio is nice and clean. We were told we needed to bring linens; the linens were on the bed. It took at least two flushes to get the paper to flush. Otherwise there was plenty of towels and was clean. We love the positioning of this Studio as to location. I called management on the 2nd day of our 4 day get away vacation to inquire where the advertised beach was. Just so future tenants know; the quaint little beach advertised is located at building B which is down the street from the building A we stayed in. We will try different accommodations in the future.
