Decent place

Overall this was a decent place to stay. Only a couple of problems that we worked around. The first was one bed was unusable. The second was we were told by cleaning staff that we couldn’t use one of the two sinks in the upstairs. Only the water was turned off to both sinks. Wouldn’t keep us from staying again but would need these items addressed first.

It could use more lighting in rooms. Separating the wifi from room light would be great. Otherwise the house was comfortable and plentu of room for us and our son's family. Response time was pretty quick. We would stay here again. Thank you

2nd time always amazing

I have stayed in this home twice. It has been amazing. The communication has been on point. The cleanliness is top notch. The only issues I have ran into was the internet not working. I can imagine it may be a user issue. We weren't at the house long enough to really need it so no complaints.

Stay At Own Risk

I should have heeded Claudia's advice.... DO NOT STAY HERE. I rented this home 8 months after her review, and many of the problems she listed had not been fixed. In fact, I received a text on the day I arrived, telling me of some damage, stating it was caused by a previous tenant, and they did not have time to get the repairs made (making it sound recent). Obviously untrue. Fact is, the house has some serious issues (plumbing and electrical), and it should be inspected. The only reason I gave one star is because I could not select zero. To repeat Claudia's review. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Felt like staying at a friends house that didn’t have time to clean

This place was cozy, able to host my group, but left much to be desired in cleanliness. Much of the house is pretty beaten up and could use a fresh coat of paint. The oven started smoking upon preheating and we had to go buy supplies to clean it before being able to use it. It has potential to be a great rental but needs a few updates.

Disappointing

The house has some nice features, but overall, there are several things that need attention in terms of repairs and upgrades. The downstairs is spacious, and updated somewhat recently, but the upstairs is rather dated and run down. The lighting in the main bathroom is horrible. There were numerous scratches and gashes in the walls, and not all the interior doors worked. We also had an issue with the kitchen sink which wasn’t addressed promptly. I also did not get any info about checkin until the day of, when I was on my way there already. I get not giving us the actual codes to get in, but there was nothing about anything else regarding checkin. The host also had the wrong check out date and so contacted us as to why we hadn’t left. Overall, this wasn’t a good experience for us.

DO NOT STAY HERE

I want to start by warning anyone considering to stay here DO NOT STAY HERE! You will regret not listening! Condition of the house DIRTY, DIRTY DIRTY! The day we arrived we had to do sweep as the floors were not clean. If I could load pictures and video of the conditions I would, as I took plenty to show VRBO how bad this house is. Dishwasher broken, microwave has a hole in it causing it to spark, refrigerator door did not close properly, there are holes on the couches and recliners do not work. NOT WHAT IS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES! Floor mats filthy, upstairs bathroom shower has either mold or rust along the rim, HVAC system does not work causing the upstairs to get extremely hot. Mattress in one of the bedrooms sinks in the middle and is pretty worn out. Also, person claiming to be the owner showed up unannounced to get things from the garage. The alarm system alerted us there was someone in the garage. Scared us as we were not told. The host never communicated with us even though we attempted several times to reach out and speak with her. We left on the 3rd day after trying to resolve the matter and it became unbearable to stay. We contacted VRBO right away and all we were asking for is a refund for the remainder of the days we did not stay and the cleaning fee. VRBO has NOT helped, and can only send emails to the host to help resolve our grievance. But to this day Timeka has not responded nor do we believe she will. VRBO and Timeka are DISHONEST, UNCARING and INDIFFERENT!
