I have never had such a terrible experience with a rental property before. We arrived to find our "parking" was street parking only available after school hours and on weekends - no daytime parking. The unit was terribly dirty, bugs everywhere, food in the fridge and freezer, cements pieces and a large wad of hair in the shower, and trash in the trashcan. The toilet had a thick brown layer inside the bowl. And that wasn't the worst. Besides the cleanliness issue there were safety concerns as well such as the outlets not being covered and a stairwell access to the unit below ours that would not even stay closed and that we could not lock. Our unit was completely accessible by those living in the unit below. In addition the ac was limited to a wall unit. Multiple fans were situated around the unit to try and keep the temp down. The temperature was unbearable except for the family room where the ac was located. We stayed 1 night as we had no other choice but left immediately in the morning. I addressed my concerns with the property manager in message including documented pictures. I recieved a nasty call from the property manager saying that access from other units is acceptable, that it was clean (despite the picture proof), that we had parking, and that I bothered him withquestion about parking with questions (1 policy question before renting and 1 question when we arrived late about parking). It was clearly evident that in his voice that I was a stupid woman not wlite
