  • Located forty five mins. from Halifax on the incomparable south shore of Nova Scotia this oceanside property is nestled in the heart of Northwest Cove .Watch the fishing boats head out and return with their day's catch. Rent a kayak (or a bike) or just walk to the nearby coves and beaches. Fish or snorkel from the dock. Have a bar-b-que and end the day by a crackling camp fire. Photographers, artists, beware ! Annual Family cottage week.

Everyone enjoyed their stay at this property. The extra space was great for the 3 little great-grands especially.It was helpful to have the facilities to put them to bed and not disturb them and also to allow for most of the adults to sleep in a little in the mornings.Kelly was pleasant and reasonable to deal with.

Amazing family get-away

Our family had an amazing vacation, we had everything we needed to make us feel at home. Included in our stay were adventures to Halifax, Peggy’s cove, Bayswater beach, the East River trail and Wolfville. Our host was amazing!

Amazing property and amazing host!

A family member was getting married in Hubbards this weekend and we were her decorating crew so needed somewhere to stay. The house was perfect it slept all 13 of us (10 adults, 3 little kids), it was clean, well maintained and had absolutely stunning views. Kelly was absolutely wonderful to deal with, we will definitely be back!

The view is spectacular and the house is wonderful. Well laid out house that accommodated our group of 7 ladies. Comfortable beds, lots of room to spread out and very well equipped. We had lots of fun and loved the setting and beautiful view.

Gotta Getaway

We had a wonderful relaxing time sitting on the amazing large deck overlooking the water. The weather was beautiful for May. The lobster boats bringing in their traps was an added bonus and provided our entertainment.

My immediate family (me, wife, 4 teenager) as well as some extended family (brother, sister, and her daughter) stayed here for a week. Wow. What a place. We did go do some local sightseeing in Halifax and Lunenburg, but our best times were at the place. It has all you need for a wonderful family vacation. Plenty of room for everyone, swimming off the dock, an incredible view, and a wonderful, super responsive host. It gets our highest recommendation.

Amazing Family Vacation

Fantastic property for a family vacation. Comfortably accommodated our family of 8 adults and 6 children. Amazing views from the sunroom, which is where we spent most of our time. Kids have a blast catching mackerel from the dock. Location great for day trips and within 15 minutes of 3 beautiful beaches. Kelly is an amazing host.
