“Our stay at Il Magàn was great! The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Staying in Corniglia was perfect for us, as it is the smallest and least busy of the five towns. It served as a great home base to explore between our time in the other towns. The breakfast was our favourite part of the stay. There was no additional cost (which we had in almost every other place we stayed), it offered great variety, and the portions were large! You can literally pick anything/as much as you’d like off……

“We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. We were lucky and we were the only guests in the house Before arriving at the house we corresponded with the hosts and they sent us all the necessary details for arrival. Although we did not meet the hosts during our stay, they were very nice and got back to me with any questions. The house has no parking because it is in a car-free area. “Our host was wonderful, helpful and friendly. She helped us book a private boat excursion and obtain the pass for the park which included most access fees and bus. The property has exceptional views of the sunset, a beautiful balcony and cave living room to use anytime. The balcony was our favourite, we were able to have our dinner out there, but used our room one night when the balcony was being used by another guest. We had just as good views. The only downside if you’re a light sleeper is……

“There were a lot of steps to the room, not something you want to do after hiking the cinque terre. Need to put plastic skid plates on bottom of chairs in rooms. Can hear neighbors sliding chairs around all evening. Great staff. Thank you Loris for hauling my suitcase up hill. Would definely stay there again.”
