We were looking for a short getaway and Frankenmuth did not disappoint! These hosts were very responsive and made our trip so smooth! The fenced in yard was perfect for our fur baby. This place was super close to town and there was a ton of fun things to do from driving around to see the lights to eating at the local restaurants. Will absolutely be coming back and staying here!
The house gave off a nice homey vibe. We spent Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, and it was perfect for our family get together. The fenced in back yard was nice for the fur babies. There was plenty of room for everyone to have a little quiet place if needed. Great location.
Spacious house ideal for our family trip to Frankenmuth. Close to town and nearby attrections. Host was responsive and ordered missing item from Amazon for next day delivery. Would recommend.
The house is located just outside of Frankenmuth which was great. The fenced in backyard was great for our dogs. Loved how they had the house decorated for Christmas, We loved our stay, and the host was great to work with. We would stay here again.
Short drive to downtown; great place for a big family
Stayed over a long weekend in Frankenmuth rather than staying in the waterpark hotels. Having a kitchen and backyard firepit to work with is so much nicer than being in hotel rooms. We took the kids to the waterparks during the day, then had a home to go back to for dinner and the evenings.
Location was great, lots bedrooms/beds to work with, everything was clean upon arrival. Just be aware it is an old farmhouse out in the country, so well water and limited speed wifi are in the mix. Overall a great stay, and reasonably priced for how many guests it can support comfortably.

No as expected
The place is cute, but the photos were deserving. The thermostat was set to 90 degrees when we arrived! The upstairs shower doesn’t drain. Overall cleanliness could improve. The host was responsive to questions.
Just needed a little getaway with the family and this house was a home run! The house is very nice with plenty of sleep space and all the little details around the house are fantastic!
This was such a cute and charming home! It was perfect for our group of friends. There was plenty of room and the hosts were communicative throughout the booking process. I would definitely book this property again!
This property was in a great location. It is a beautiful older farm house. On arrival, the house was very clean and it gave the feeling of going home. The check in process was wonderful. The decor throughout the house made it feel welcoming. I would recommend this house to any of my friends or family that was taking a vacation in this area. My two puppies really enjoyed the house as well!! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home on our mini vacation
We were lucky to find a house to accommodate six people in our family. Bonus for us: It was very close to Frankenmuth and only 30 minutes away from Saginaw. Our days were filled with a three day Robotics Competition at SVSU. However we were able to enjoy Frankenmuth as well. This Farmhouse is charming and very comfortable and clean. The host has thought about every aspect of lodging for the comfort of their guests.
Great location- less then 10 min from downtown frankenmuth. Very clean. Communication with owners was perfect. Great fenced in yard for our fur baby.

Farmhouse
I want to address the positives of this property: It is a farmhouse! It was very comfortably temperature controlled; it provided several rooms for sleeping. There were plenty of towels in bathrooms. Negatives:I could not check in until 4:00 pm because the “cleaning crew “ would be there. We arrived at the property at 2:00 pm nobody was there. Trash cans were left at the street. We returned at 4:00 pm. We went into the property and the back screened door was missing the piston which held the door open, the house had not been cleaned. In the dining room there was old dried shredded cheese on the floor. There were bugs on the floors. The kitchen was missing a cabinet door, and the house had well water. This was not in the description of the house. We had to go and buy bottled water so we could have coffee and tea. The main bedroom had dog hair in the bed, the lake room had 3 lamps but only one worked. The downstairs bathroom had a shower curtain that was so long it plugged the drain. The living room tv remote only had one battery and it was the wrong remote for that TV. This property lacked details. I addressed the issues with the host on the day we checked in, he wrote back he would address these issues with his cleaning crew. the next morning I received an automated message asking how was my first night? The next day I received an automated message saying if I could not give a 5 star review to let the host know and they would fix it. Nothing was fixed

Not as good as shown
It was not horrible, but we felt our stay was definitely 2 star. The reasons:
1. Whoever did the photos and staging for the website is brilliant. It was made to look much better than what it is.
2. The bunk bedroom is really only useable for young kids. We were going to use for our teenage daughters, but it was just too small.
3. The stairs are very steep. Two of our family members are over 80, making that a challenge. So, if you have similar issues, know that only the downstairs bedroom would work.
4. There were some dirty areas. As example, a shelf with coffee cups was very dusty. That along with bad water led to us going to get coffee every day instead of using the machine.
5. The main issue was horrible smelling water. The home is a couple of miles out of town. Therefore, I assume this might be on well water. You could see bad rust stains in the sinks/showers. On day one, the smell was awful, like bad eggs, and only improved slightly with use. It was so bad that we used bottled water to brush our teeth.
6. I am only 5' 7" and the shower spouts are shorter than me. Therefore, water sort of flowed at you, not over. Also, the ceiling space in the showers is very small. Anyone over that height would have to shower slightly bent over.
We should also mention the positives. It did have a quant feeling, especially if you have ever spent any time in an early 1900s style farm home. The property manager also communicated well.
Its a great big beautiful farmhouse that is surrounded by this years crops, sunrises and sunsets! And...its right in Frankenmuth! Who could ask for anything more! Love the house, the property, and the hosts! Your needs are their highest priority! If you love the farm setting, you'll love this charming place!
