  • Private, upstairs efficiency apartment over garage with new pine wood ceilings, cherry timber beams, and scenic views overlooking the valley, Freshly cut and installed wood offers wonderful wood aromas. Large Yard surrounded by nature.

    The space
    Secluded feel, surrounded by nature, but just 8 mins to historic downtown Frederick.
    Close to Washington D.C via train or by car, and many Civil war Battlefields such as Gettysburg and Antietam.
    Applachian Trail Just 9 minutes drive for hiking and camping and snow shoeing.
    Best mountain biking in the Mid-Atlantic just 2 miles away at Gambrill State Park.
    Biking and bike camping along the C&O Canal and Potomac River just 15 min drive.
    Snow skiing at three nearby resorts: Liberty, Whitetail and Roundtop.

    Guest access
    Access to Pine Tree Nest has a separate private entrance detached from the main house. Also separate air conditioning unit and ventilation for those concerned about possible COVID-19 spread from the main home.

    Other things to note
    Cul de sac is the best spot for guest parking. Easiest to avoid a long backup when exiting and being accidentally blocked in.
