Quiet, quaint getaway cottage

The Hillside Cabin is perfectly located and the property has little nuances that are unique to it, like the cardinal who hangs out on or by the car and the little fairie garden behind the cabin. Even saw a deer wander by our first night!

Enjoyed our stay again at Hillside because of location outside of town and all the creature comforts you would have at your own home. The view from porch is nice too and would see birds and deer from the windows and porch.

Hillside Cabin

Great place to unwind and get away from the stresses of the city. Very quiet with nature all around. Beautiful view and wonderful breezes! We honestly hated to leave!! If you want some peace and just time to relax this is the place! We loved it!!

We have stayed at the Hillside Cabin for many years. We are there every May. We love this cabin. It is perfect for a couple. It is clean, quiet, and very relaxing. The full kitchen is nice if you want to prepare meals at the cabin. The wildflowers around the cabin were beautiful this year. We will continue to come back.

Favorite home away

We have stayed many times in the Hillside Cabin and enjoy the comfort and quiet every time. The WiFi and internet have been upgraded and work great. Did have a slow drain in the bathroom sink that was fixed during our stay. This is our first choice place in F'burg.

Anniversary getaway near Fredricksburg

We had a great long weekend stay at the Hilllside Cabin. THe property is close enough to town to be convenient but far enough away to get away from the lights and sounds of the city. A sweet Cardinal landed on our car as soon as we arrived, and he and his family visited all weekend. The surrounding area made for some great photography and the cabin had everything we needed. I haighly recommend this location if you are planning a trip to Fredricksburg.

Great cabin

The cabin was clean and in great order. Plenty of supplies for the entire weekend. Very quaint, quiet, and peaceful place. Sittin on the porch in the mornin with coffee watchin the birds and sunrise then in the evenin with scotch watchin nature and the sunset. It's a great place to unwind and recharge. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and well furnished. It was nice waking up and see 7 deer nearby. If I may make a couple of suggestions. The tree where you park could be trimmed and the intake to the exhaust fan in the bathroom needs cleaning.
