"This cottage was perfect for 6 adults to watch the total solar eclipse together! It has a big deck front & back and we enjoyed it immensely! Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Close to small town of Conneaut Lake and the lakefront ( although it has no view). Meadville is nearby too with groceries and a great meat market, Malady’s. We loved our stay and were so happy the clouds cleared and we saw the total solar eclipse!! 🌖"

"Wish I had known about this place when our son 1st started college at SRU. It's 15 minutes from campus and perfect for parents and 1-2 other children if needed. Recommend it for families during orientation, campus visits, graduation. Much nicer to have a house and closer than driving to Mercer or Cranberry for a hotel. Only negative was the cable/internet cut out a lot."

"I was amazed by The Big Brickhouse even before I entered the front door. I appreciated Norma greeting us upon arrival for a quick explanation of amenities and a tour of the massive home. The hosts thought of every detail to ensure a relaxing stay - from stocking the refrigerator with breakfast and beverages, providing bath salts beside the large soaking tub, to board games in the library. "Excellent property. Carolyn and Chuck were super nice. They gave us a brief tour of the house, which was helpful. We were able to ask how to properly use the wood burner as well as get clarification of whether we could use the wood for the outdoor fire pit. The house was extremely clean. The fridge was completely empty, to include the ice trays. This is a nice touch. It made it very clear on the expectation for our departure. "Stayed for 4 day . Access to it was easy . Enough room to park a boat next to cabin . Boay ramp access was close . The cabin came with a docking if you didn't want to pull your boat every day . Cabin has everything to need . Great place for a quick quiet getaway. I definitely will be back again. We had a great time."
