Once Upon a Time — A Peaceful Maine Escape
- Escape to a peaceful getaway in secluded Freedom Maine, nestled on many private acres just outside of Belfast. Enjoy direct access to ATV trails right from the property and sip your coffee on the porch while listening to the running brook that runs along side of the home. Surrounded by nature and quiet beauty, this cozy getaway is perfect for unwinding, exploring the outdoors, and experiencing the tranquility of Maine while still being close to town, dining, and the coast.
This home sleeps up to 4 guests, with a twin bedroom, a queen bedroom & a loft that has a twin bed.
Guests will have access to the entire house & property. The driveway is big enough for vehicles and atv trailers.
Hills to Sea Trail: This extensive, multi-town trail networks winds directly through Freedom, offering scenic wooded hiking and walking.
Lake St. George State Park: Located just a short drive away in neighboring Liberty, this state park is a popular spot for swimming, fishing, paddling, and enjoying a quiet lakeside picnic.
Avian Haven: A well known wild bird rehabilitation center situated in Freedom that offers a unique, peaceful look into local wildlife conservation efforts.
The Lost Kitchen is an amazing restaurant that’s only a 10 minute drive away.
