Breathtaking Mountain View in Wild and Wonderful WV! Hot tub and pond fishing!

Breathtaking mountain view, peaceful and secluded, enjoy fishing in one of the ponds or soaking in the hot tub! Relax on the large deck drinking your morning coffee while enjoying the beautiful mountainous landscape!

Cabin sleeps up to 7: Loft is furnished with 1 twin bed, 2 full size beds. Master bedroom has one queen size bed.

Please DO NOT move any furniture or remove decorations off of the wall. We have had guests in the past who have removed decorations and rearranged our cabin and this caused a lot of extra work for cleaning staff. DO not rearrange anything in the kitchen drawers, etc.

NO PARTIES/PARTYING. Any excessive trash, alcohol/beer cans or bottles left on the deck, yard, or fire area and trash left in the yard or firepit will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

The cabin has multiple board games and card games for all ages. Adult and children's games. Large variety of DVDs for all ages. TVs in living room and a smart TV in the bedroom that can be used with your cell phone's hotspot!

All linens supplied - towels, hand towels, wash clothes, and bedding sheets.

Pie iron and roasting sticks available for the fire pit.

Firewood is available at an additional cost. Please let us know upon booking if you will be needing firewood during your stay for the outdoor fire pit and/or the indoor fireplace. We ask that the indoor fireplace not be used during Summer months. Should you choose to purchase firewood, the invoice will be sent to you for payment.

Outdoor hot tub that seats 7 adults with lights, turbo jets and waterfall.

Binoculars available to enjoy the beautiful landscape and wildlife!

Pack n Play available upon request for your little one!

No smoking inside the cabin. No glass permitted in or around hot tub area.

Please keep the hot tub covered when not in use to avoid leaves and bugs getting into the water.

There are two ponds on the property for fishing. No wading or swimming permitted in either pond. Safety devices available at each pond. Walkie talkies are available to use to communicate with guests that are not tagging along and stay at the cabin!

Kitchen has all appliances and utensils that can be found in your home. Air fryer, Keurig, teapot, coffee pot, double toaster, smoothie blender, coffee grinder, crock pot, gas range stove, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, ice trays in freezer, garbage bags. The kitchen will also have vegetable oil, sugar, flour, salt, pepper, and an assortment of spices available.

Please be aware that the cabin driveway is long and steep going up to the cabin and will require AWD or FWD in Winter months. AWD/FWD recommended but not necessary in off Winter months.

Cabin is pet friendly allowing 1 dog under 50lbs. Pet fee is required at booking. Please check the $99 pet fee when paying for your booking please. All renters are responsible for cleaning up after your pet inside and outside. Excessive pet hair on furniture or pet excrement inside the cabin may result in forfeiture of all or a portion of the security deposit.




Surrounding destinations:

COES COUNTRY STORE - approximately 15 minutes from the cabin near the WV Wildlife Center. Coe's has an open kitchen with WONDERFUL food! Food can be to go or dine in! They also have beer, mixed drinks, pop, milk, bread, ice, candy, energy drinks, and cigarettes/tobacco.

Village Hardware - approximately 20-25 minutes from the cabin. Village hardware has a small selection of hardware supplies, ice, GAS, alcohol and tobacco. Make a right onto route 20 past the WV Wildlife Center. There is a Dollar General just before you get to Village Hardware!

Buckhannon - 22 miles/34 minutes. Area includes Walmart, Kroger, multiple gas stations, restaurants, movie theatre, Walk-in clinics, St. Joseph's Hospital.

Rock Cave - 12 miles/20 minutes. IGA grocery store, Harper Lumber hardware store, Tri-County clinic, and Tri County pharmacy.

WV Wildlife Center - 9.7 miles/16 minutes. Wildlife, Elk, Bobcats, bald eagle, hiking trails, and gift shop with food! This attraction is so great for children and adults to enjoy so many of West Virginia's beautiful wildlife!

J.W Curry Library & Playground - 5.5miles/14 minutes. Library with pavilion and playground. Beautiful scenery!

Helvetia - 9.7miles/17 minutes. Enjoy this wonderful historic Swiss village! Helvetia is known for the Home of the Hutte Swiss restaurant! Great food! There is also a small store in this area.

Pickens - 15miles/27 minutes. Home of the Maple Syrup Festival. Enjoy this small friendly town by stopping at Hulls Store and grabbing ice cream sandwiches and any groceries you may have forgotten!

Snowshoe Mountain - 50 miles/1 hour and 34 minutes. Skiing, shopping, dining, snow tubing, snow boarding, etc.

Canaan Valley Ski Resort - 80 miles/ 1 hour and 41 minutes. Skiing, snow board, snow tubing, gift shop, and dining.

Blackwater Falls - 83 miles/1 hour and 47 minutes. Beautiful waterfalls and giftshop available.

Kumbrabow State Forest - 20 miles/44 minutes. Multiple hiking trails and bring your gun for the shooting range!

Holly River State Park - 30 miles/45 minutes. Lots of hiking trails, waterfalls, outdoor public pool, restaurants and enjoying the river.

Audra State Park - 36 miles/53 minutes. Enjoy this beautiful river and hiking trails with your family!

Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum - 29miles/45 minutes. This is a national historic landmark that offers historic tours and paranormal tours! This is always a great time around Halloween if you like a good scare!

Everything was wonderful!
This was such a nice little hidden spot away from traffic and neighboring houses. We all very much enjoyed our atay and Kay was one of the most attentive host Ive dealt with. She was always super quick to text back when I rech out for any reason. Thank you Kay- we loved your place and our stay!
