“The hotel was exceptionally clean. The staff was very helpful. Let me say. I am deaf and mute, so customer services paramount to me. I review for google. "Jeffrey tries it". I really enjoyed the valet service. In truth I didn't enjoy the breakfast. It was quite small, and it was all carbohydrates. I have never seen a hotel that didn't at least have scrambled eggs. All the other amenities were great, but when I came down the first morning for breakfast, I looked around and said, where is it? Not……

“There was no front desk for checking. Instead someone greased you and checked you in while seated in a comfortable seat. The staff everywhere was extremely nice and helpful. Went out of their way to take care of my wife and I. The location was great.. restaurants everywhere. we walked to everything except the sunset cruise”

“The property was way more than I expected. All staff was really friendly and helpful. The amenities are wonderful. The staff my cleaning people great. How they interact with each individual was really impressive to me. They have a wine and cheese hour a cookie and milk hour and also their breakfast buffet was outstanding. Truly I don’t have anything bad to say about it”

“The place is centrally located and everything is pretty much within walking distance. They have a nice continental breakfast every morning as well as a wine and cheese tasting every afternoon. They also leave chocolate chip cookies and coffee out in the lobby all night for everyone. We enjoyed everything about this place. The only downside is the parking lot is a block and a half away, but they do have valet parking if you choose it for $40 a night. Otherwise if you park, your own car is $25 a……

“Appreciated the extras including free breakfast and a very nice happy hour including drinks and a nice charcuterie spread. Parking was very convenient although with a charge which is expected in the downtown Charleston area.”

“As much as I like the hotel, it was very unfortunate that there was no restroom where the breakfast was served each morning. We were in a separate building and had to go all the way over across the street to that building to use the restroom when there should be one available near the eating area.”

“Great location. Web confusing re what the property amenities are. Rooftop garden, yes, but not a bar or evening spot unless you bring your own drinks and food. Same with the bar. I expected a more lively bar and evening event. Bar, yes. Staff, great. Prices, stiff. As a side note, there is a grocery store across the street, so possibilities exist for those who want to grab a bottle of wine or beer, munchies, etc.”

“Excellent location. The old building has been renovated while preserving its historic character. A continental breakfast was delivered right to the room at a time that was convenient for us. Highly recommend”

“Parking was easy, following the guidance given on their website under frequently asked questions. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. It’s conveniently located and having breakfast and happy hour included is nice. Being able to quickly grab morning coffee from the lobby was great. Super cute place and pleasant stay, I would stay again.”
