「There was no front desk for checking. Instead someone greased you and checked you in while seated in a comfortable seat. The staff everywhere was extremely nice and helpful. Went out of their way to take care of my wife and I. The location was great.. restaurants everywhere. we walked to everything except the sunset cruise」

「Appreciated the extras including free breakfast and a very nice happy hour including drinks and a nice charcuterie spread. Parking was very convenient although with a charge which is expected in the downtown Charleston area.」

「The place is centrally located and everything is pretty much within walking distance. They have a nice continental breakfast every morning as well as a wine and cheese tasting every afternoon. They also leave chocolate chip cookies and coffee out in the lobby all night for everyone. We enjoyed everything about this place. The only downside is the parking lot is a block and a half away, but they do have valet parking if you choose it for $40 a night. Otherwise if you park, your own car is $25 a...

「The Ryder Hotel is a whole vibe. It's retro-styled, a very hipster atmosphere but good for the family too. It's walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Love that it has a coffee shop right on the premises. I would definitely stay here again.」
