The house consists of 3 floors, the first one with kitchen/diningroom equipped with glass-ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, television, washing machine and a bathroom. On the second floor there is a cosy double.- room with bathroom and on the third floor you will find a nice and warm penthouse with two single beds. The whole house has got central heating and in the diningroom there is a wood stove.
You can relax in the garden while enjoying the rich gastronomy and admiring the beautiful views on the mountains.

La casa está fantástica, muy bien equipada, muy acogedora, bonita, muy bien mantenida. Todo perfecto. El trato del dueño, Jesús María, es inmejorable: super cordial y amable, a la vez que reservado. Perfecto. Nos tenía preparada hasta una cena básica de bienvenida, a base de productos de la tierra (jamón, queso, vino, incluso champán navideño). Todo riquísimo ! . Impresionante. Es la mejor casa rural que hemos experimentado nunca. No creo que esto sea repetible, salvo en esta misma casa. Fabuloso. Y el entorno natural es maravilloso: pinares, hayedos, y el río Tirón con sus cascadas. Nadie en el campo, y poca gente, aunque muy acogedora, en el pueblo (nos invitaron a una tacita de caldo y una copita después de la san silvestre fresnedana!). Una maravilla.

Beautiful and quiet

If you like quiet rural stays in a beautiful location, this is the place for you! The owner has produced a lovely basic house and there are a couple of things that we advised him of. Hopefully he will add a kettle! The village is very quiet with a bar that serves only drinks and sweeties. If you need to eat out you have to travel 5kms. We ate in and had to buy food in shops 5kms distant. If this is not a problem for you, then this is the place to stay. Fabulous valley with plants, birds and butterflies. If you like a challenging bike ride a 5km climb begins outside your door. Whole day walks in the Sierra de la Demanda are strenuous but not too technical - great ridge walks.
