Paige, the host, was very nice, but the property left a bit to be desired. There were no reviews when we rented the house so be advised, there is a step-down about seven steps from the front door into the living area. There's no warning until you intentionally or unintentionally take that step. Could be a twisted an ankle or worse. First night, the top door hinge for the bedroom came out of the wall. We contacted Paige the next day (Sat.) & she was very apologetic. Paige couldn’t get anyone to fix the door until Wednesday (lucky it was just us). On Tuesday we were feeling & seeing ants on us, as well as a slug in the shower. On Wed. the repair guy handled all of that plus a wiggling toilet seat & hair in the shower (not ours) while in search of the slug. Thurs. morning, the ants were out in force. I vacuumed the whole downstairs & sofa, & we got our own ant spray & ant bait traps. Additionally, the bath towels stunk like they had been forgotten in the washer & just thrown in the dryer so I washed all of the towels, washcloths, blankets and bedding. The kitchen is okay, but we bought some foil baking pans because there are no mixing bowls. The bathroom toilets are LOW! There also is a shower curtain over the sliding door to the shower which obstructs the towel rack. The tabletop in the dining room wobbles. The nightstands are really narrow (like a long shoebox) but there are charging outlets on them (one had a hair attached to it). However, the house is in a Great location!
