Convenient location if driving long distance and needing a stop. Staff were a little confused with the booking coming from Expedia, but otherwise really great place for a stop. Would recommend and will use again.

Sehr schöne Lage des Hotels, sehr freundliches Personal. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der Koch. Ein sehr netter zuvorkommender Mitarbeiter der dazu sehr gut kocht.

Um 9.00 abends angekommen und die Eingangstür trotz toller Beleuchtung geschlossen und auch die Nachtglocke hatte keinerlei Funktion und nach diversen Anrufen auch kein Kontakt möglich , nach 1 STD habe ich aufgegeben und eine wunderbare Nacht im Auto verbracht , vielen Dank , werde ich in meinem Leben nicht mehr vergessen

absolut empfehlenswert. Hotel an Waldrand, Schönes Zimmer, gutes Essen, reichhaltiges Frühstück und netter Service. Allerdings ist Schlafen mit offenem Fenster eher schlecht, da der Lärm von der Autobahn und der Hauptstr. in Nähe des Hotels zumindest auf Straßenseite hin relativ laut ist. Ansonsten Top, Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder mal dort übernachten

Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und an vielen Stellen sieht es so aus, als ob größere Investitionen verschoben wurden. Beim Check-In war alles ok, ein WLAN-Passwort habe ich aber nicht bekommen. Spätere Nachfragen waren nicht mehr möglich, da die Rezeption nicht besetzt war. Das Zimmer war sauber und funktional. Leider war der Rolladen defekt und konnte nicht geschlossen werden. Das Frühstück war für den Preis ok. Bei der Bezahlung musste ich etwas warten, da der Drucker nicht funktionierte und die Rechnungsanschrift noch nicht geändert wurde.

A Very Nice Hotel Near The Woods

The Hotel Staff was EXTREMELY friendly, and the food in the Hotel Restaurant was EXCELLENT; we enjoyed the luncheon buffet and the morning breakfast and did not depart hungry. We savored the BEST fresh, just-picked-from-the-forest mushroom soup I have EVER eaten (and that is 68 years' worth of eating). The bedroom size was adequate and the bathroom was modern with toilet, sink, and shower. The room had a wall of openable windows overlooking the garden-surrounded dining area below. The bed was VERY comfortable. The Hotel was decorated tastefully, and flowers were liberally placed in the public areas. By NO MEANS a negative comment, but of information only, the Hotel has no elevator, but the stairwell is wide and easily navigable with luggage.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel in nähe der Autobahn gelegen. Einfache und etwas hellhörige Zimmer. Das Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant ist gut. Keine wirklichen Highlights.

Ein Wochenende in Freudenberg und Umgebung

Nach einer gut zweistündigen Fahrt ereichten wir das Hotel am Freitagnachmittag gegen 15:30 Uhr. Wir besuchten das nahe gelegene Möbelhaus und aßen aufgrund des schönen Wetters draußen beim Hotel zu Abend. Am Samstag besuchten wir die Stadt Siegen und abends genossen wir die Kömödie "Pension Schöller" auf der Freudenberger Freilichtbühne. Sonntags führen wir durch das Sauerland auf Land- und Bundesstraßen wieder zurück nach Hause.

Matrassspring in my back

The hotel was ok. Nice and friendly people. Diner was fine. Breakfast also. I only could not sleep because a cheap coilspring mattress was on my bed. The spring was pushing in my back all night. At the end I came to have a nightrest. But that was the only thing that was not ok.

Hotel Wilhelmshöhe bij Freudenberg in Duitsland

Dit is een prima hotel met een vriendelijke bedrijfsleider. Het ontbijt (inclusief) was uitstekend en het diner bijzonder lekker. Minpunten zijn de ligging aan de rand van een industrieterrein (er is wel veel groen om het hotel) en het lawaai van de A45 vlakbij. Niet fijn was ook dat er gerookt was in de kamer en die lucht blijft overal in zitten. Verder is de kamer vrij klein. Heel geschikt voor 1-2 nachten om van daaruit Siegen te bezoeken.
