Fripp and Dip

Overall rating of the stay was “average for a rental.”Common furniture (what you’d expect for a rental) was tired, dated and a bit dirty. Sofa slip covers need cleaning. Property exterior also looked the same. Small child table and chairs were a hit. Kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware and utensils, but disorganized. Could use new glassware such as drinking glasses. Also really need more dish towels. AC was terrific. There were days it felt cold…but with the heat, a joy to come home to. Washer and dryer were awesome to have and use. Bedrooms were very nicely done and the mattresses were terrific. Bathroom bath linens were plentiful, but bath towels could be larger. At least for what was in the master. Parking was great, golf cart a plus (had a flat tire one morning as we were getting packed for beach. Texted rental manager and she had the tire repaired within two hours) we used the grill several times but had to work to clean it before first use. First time we stayed on Fripp where amenity cards were not provided. Every other property supplied 2.Which for grandchildren was also disappointing. Pools, ice cream.There was only 1 garbage bag provided for a 7 day rental which was also annoying.Seniors renting who are wary of stairs, look closely at photos on web site. 15 up/15 down. A little difficult when traveling with coolers, lugging your supplies or walking your dog. We (70’s) traveled with a total of 5 adults and 2 grandchildren.
