「Everything about the inn and the restaurant was wonderful. Best seafood chowder ever and the room was spacious with incredible water views. The only drawback was the three flights of stairs to climb. 」

「We loved our stay at this lovely lakefront hideaway! The place was clean, comfortable, cute, and well-stocked. And the property was fantastic!!! Loved the views from all the windows and the nice deck. And it was a great pleasure to go down to the very private lakefront every day for relaxing sits, breakfast, and paddling the supplied kayaks. 「We had a fantastic stay at Frank & Val's place on Heckman's Island. The river is so peaceful to wake up to at sunrise with the sound of loons, and we were also greeted each dawn by deer quietly roaming around the cottages. There were lots of great movies for the kids to enjoy, and we really appreciated all of the complimentary, organic & unscented amenities provided in the kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Highly recommend this location for your stay in the Lunenburg area!」

「We had a wonderful time in this beautiful little cottage. Easy walking distance to quaint village. Very nicely decorated and everything was spotlessly clean. So quiet and peaceful. Washing machine and dryer are a bonus, especially if you’re on a longer trip as we were. Pam gave us some great tips. We would love to stay here again.」
