“The owners gave us a lovely welcome and explained everything very clearly in English. The house is beautiful and spacious with a wonderful large and safe pool, with lots of loungers, although only one umbrella. We used the pizza oven with wood supplied for us and also the barbecue. Sitting in the outdoor dining area with the beautiful view of the lit up pool and the hills beyond was heaven. The kitchen was very well equipped. Our last evening we had a great meal at Bimbotto’s in Vorno, walking……

“The villa was amazing. Beatrice and Jacopo were perfect hosts. Images of the rooms and property were very accurate. The location was ideal to explore Florence, Siena, Lucca, and San Gimignano. The meals prepared by Beatrice and Jacopo were top notch. We were a party of 13 and the house was plenty big. Not sure what we loved more sunsets by the pool or our hosts. The cooking class at the villa was so much fun. I hope to return on day.”

“We had a beautiful week-long stay here, enjoying some down time after a whirlwind wedding-guest experience in another part of Tuscany. We were seriously ready to relax and this was the perfect spot. Everything we needed to cook was there, and we did plenty of day trips to fascinating towns and establishments nearby, having delicious meals and bringing home leftovers to use in fun ways. “The villa was a beautiful home to send our our time in Tuscany, Italy. We enjoyed having our own bedrooms and baths. We had a special meal cooked by a local chef, Rachel. The kitchen worked well for the cooking, and for our breakfasts. The scenery was just breathtaking, and it is just as pictures in books looked like. We very much enjoyed our stay.”

“The property was great as the views were breathtaking, the villa was quite spacious and comfortable. The only thing lacking was air conditioning in the kitchen and dining area. Nicole the chef was outstanding, engaging and lots of fun. She made the Villa Alfresco an experience to remember. “Das Haus auf einem Berg mit Blick auf Lucca und die umliegenden Berge - einfach toll. Die Straße dorthin ist ein bischen Abenteuer, teilweise eng und steil, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran. “Amazing place. Beaufiful location on the hill above Lukka. Great contact with the owner. Very authentic place. House was very comfortable for 9 people. The only small minus was the fact that you have to use the car all the time and the road is bit difficult. But the view is a great reward. ”

The hosts were delightful and helpful. We were able to find the villa easily, but it is up a narrow steep road. The hosts recommended to not drink the tap water and provided us with 2L of bottled water. ”
