Amazing property AND host!

We stayed here last minute because our previously rented place was not functioning. The host was not only responsive, but had someone waiting outside for us when we arrived, who walked us through everything and answered our questions. Host sent several messages of helpful information and things to do in the area. Great place and great location! Would definitely stay again!

Awesome view

Great view and close to everything. The coffee shop downstairs was an added bonus The apartment had everything you needed but does need a little upgrading. The chairs on the balcony were a little iffy on if they’d stay together and AC or more fans would be great with all the windows it was a little warm

Nice, affordably priced.

The apartment was big and clean. The view was very nice, good location, and the host very helpful with location attractions. Unfortunately the weather while we were staying was very hot and there was only one fan to help cool things down. Since the windows were left open , road noise on the weekend did impact our comfort..

Goed gelegen appartement met levendig uitzicht

Appartement gelegen op een fijne plek in Funchal. Restaurants en lido op loopafstand. Centrum 5 kilometer, goed te lopen en makkelijk met de bus bereikbaar. Goed bed, goede badkamer, eenvoudige complete keuken. En een schitterend uitzicht.

Simpel und praktisch

Die Wohnung liegt in einer mittellauten Siedlung oberhalb der Estrada Monumental. Sie hat einen Parkplatz und einen Lift. Für zwei Personen ausreichend, ausgestattet mit einer Küche mit Waschmaschine, sowie einem Balkon mit tollem Blick auf Funchal und das Meer, eignet sich diese Wohnung für einen Urlaub, bei dem man wandert oder wie ich Freunde besucht; als Basis eben. Zum "Strand", Doca do Cavacas, geht man ca 10 Minuten. Auf Luxus und Schnickschnack wird im Apartment verzichtet. Im unteren Bereich gibt es ein kleines Café, in dem man günstig frühstücken kann. Alles in allem eine praktische Variante, wenn man nicht ins Hotel möchte. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilft mit Tips für den Aufenthalt. Ich würde wieder kommen!

Beautifull Sunrise

We had a lovely stay. Well located with restaurants and supermarket nearby, natural pools very close. Free parking on street and at apartment. Apartment was clean, had everything we needed for our stay so we could cook our own meals if we wanted. Easy to contact if needed. Thanks for a great stay, we would certainly come again!

Amazing Views

great Flat with the most amazing views over the sea and the town of Funchal and the Atlantic Ocean day or night ! the flat was spacious, massive amount of cupboard space and storage, large kitchen, bathroom and bedroom maybe the bathroom and kitchen need a little upgrading but the flat was clean and very functional for its needs, we loved it we felt very secure and safe in the flat which also featured a lift to our floof and to a private garage if required although we were a little way out from the main town of Funchal, the local bus service was just outside the flat, cost less than 2 euros and took about 8 mins to get into the heart of Funchal we had a great stay and the flat made the holiday memorable

Très bel appartement

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement. L'accueil du propriétaire était parfait avec en prime une longue liste de lieux et restaurants à conseiller. L'appartement est très bien équipé, rien ne manque. Il est situé dans un quartier plutôt récent et excentré du centre-ville (comptez 40/45min à pied pour rejoindre le centre de la vieille ville) mais tous les commerces sont à proximité, il y a un centre commercial à moins de 5min à pied. Comme rien n'est jamais parfait je soulèverai 2 points, la literie trop ferme à mon goût et le manque de double vitrage dans la chambre, la rue est passante et on entend de ce fait beaucoup les voitures malgré le 4ème étage. Je retire une étoile pour ces points, si je pouvais je mettrai 4,5/5, qui serai plus juste. A recommander vivement tout de même!!!

Friendly owner and nice stay

We had a weeks nice stay. Lovely view from the apartment, just missing a reading lamp in the living room. Unfortunately there is quite some street noise. The owner was very helpful throughout.

El apartamento está muy bien,muy amplio todo y un salón superluminoso y con bonitas vistas al mar

Nos han atendido muy bien,la casa estaba limpia y muy bien equipada con todo lo necesario,sobre todo la cocina,no falta de nada.El salón espectacular,tiene una terracita donde se puede desayunar,cenar o comer con bonitas vistas.Tiene incluida una cómoda y grande plaza de garaje en el mismo edificio,con acceso directo al piso en ascensor(para nosotros "imprescindible" alquilar un coche).A 3 minutos andando hay un gran centro comercial,también muy cerca el mar y la playa (aunque pedregosa, como Madeira en general) también hay un complejo público de piscinas al aire libre muy próximo.Funchal centro queda a una media hora andando(nosotros íbamos en coche y lo dejábamos aparcado en el parking de Cristiano Ronaldo en pleno puerto y céntrico ,sorprende que es bastante "barato"). En fin que muy recomendable.

Mitigé , très bruyant mais bien situé.

Martim est accueillant et nous avait détaillé les visites à effectuer. Attention, les photos, mélangées, concernent plusieurs de ses appartements dans l'immeuble. Le nôtre était situé au 4ème. Photo d'une piscine?Il n'y a pas . Je m'étais basé sur les Avis pour mon choix. Nous arrivons et surprise. Un immeuble en début construction avec une belle grue. Que de bruit de 7H à 18h30, 6 /7jours cela durera bien plus d'an. Il aurait été honnête de nous en informer. L'appartement est très bruyant car il ne dispose pas de double vitrage,ce qui amène une forte nuisance le soir. Il est situé en bas d'une côte et d'une intersection. La vue est malgré tout magnifique, hélas nous n'avons jamais pu profiter de la terrasse,de ces nuisances, quel dommage. Gros avantage, le parking.

Lage und Ausstattung uneingeschränkt akzeptabel

Der Aufenthalt wurde durch die angemessene Ausstattung war funktional und die Lage der Wohnung erfreulich. Das Haus war äußerlich in keinem guten Zustand, die Wohnung aber gut renoviert.

Apartment wss huge, ocean view and great little cafe right downstairs. Very easy to get around on local buses. Martim gave us a informative tour on arrival, showing all the highlights. Supermarket, bakery, restaurants and shopping center all within walking distance.

Großzügige Unterkunft mit perfektem Gastgeber

Wir haben den Aufenthalt zu viert in der großen Wohnung, die sicher auch für fünf oder sechs Personen ausreicht, sehr genossen. Es war alles da, was man braucht - zusätzlich fühlte man sich vom unkomplizierten Vermieter sehr gut umsorgt und wirklich willkommen. Inklusive Abholung am Flughafen, kurzer Sightseeing-Tour durch Funchal und vielen guten Tipps und Empfehlungen zu Freizeitgestaltung und Restaurants. Vielen Dank, Martim!

Gute Ausgangslage für alle Exkursionen. Schönes Appartment . Super ausgestattet

Unser Appartment war auf keinem der Bilder bei Fewo-direkt abgebildet, aber auch sehr schön. Der Vermieter ist außerordentlich hilfsbereit. Wir haben noch nie eine so umfangreich ausgestattete Ferienwohnung bewohnt. Durchdacht und alles vorhanden, was man auch zu Hause hat. Wer allerdings etwas Lärmempfindlich ist sollte bedenken das die Wohnungen an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße liegen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt
