Excellent stay at Turim Santa Maria Hotel. Staff couldn't do enough and were super helpful and friendly. Room was modern, clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast buffet was fresh and plenty of it. Good location just back from the seafront and promenade, and easy walking distance to shops and Old Town. The staff pointed me towards their secure storage room to jeep my mountain bike safe during the stay and avoid using my room. A great visit and I must say that I was really comfortable and had a great time. The rooftop terrace and pool was a fantastic bonus. An amazing feature and a great place to spend time. Pool was chilly - but this is a February visit. Good hotel, good value and recommended.

Great location with grocery shopping and other stores, restaurants within walking distance. The room was spotless and the view was very pleasant. The room service was very efficient and arrived quickly. I think the could have used a clock so that when you woke up in the night you knew what time it was and also the hair dryer kept turning off. That was very inconvenient. The front desk staff assisted me with all of my tours and answered all of my questions. All in all it was a very good experience and I would return.

Great location, clean and cosy rooms, friendly staff. Parking was not available; I had to drive around for 15 minutes to find a spot 10 minutes from the hotel. Walking usually isn't a problem, but I had a health issue with both legs, so this wasn't fun. Luckily I returned the rental car earlier so I didn’t have to deal with this the other two days. The breakfast was nice, but the coffee was a disgrace. It does not fit the look of the establishment. It is one of those machines they use in cheap all-inclusive resorts where you press a button for a cappuccino, and it comes out already sweet. Keep in mind that you are not first line by the water, so sea-view is more of a horizon sea view if you are on the 5th floor or up. Overall, I liked the hotel, and I enjoyed my stay.

This will be our fourth or fifth stay at the hotel. So what can I say - absolutely everything was outstanding as usual. Reception friendliness and local knowledge, everything about our room was faultless including cleaning the room each day. Also the daily breakfast was brilliant. My wife and I can honestly say there was absolutely nothing we find fault with about this Turim Hotel. Which is exactly why we always return to this wonderful hotel when we are in Madeira

This was a great stay. The location is great, it's about a 10 min walk to the marina/quay and downtown but we mostly used ride shares instead. The buffet breakfast was great because we did a lot of early morning tours and it made it extra convenient for us to not have to leave to go grab breakfast. The staff area great, very helpful. The rooftop view from the top floor was the cherry on top that made this trip to Madiera excellent. The only con was that the room was not cleaned the best way possible, despite us asking. We thought the cleanliness could have been better but honestly we did not care much as we wanted to go out and about and needed it to rest.
