“Conveniently located, clean and spacious. It is just less than 5 min from the pier to vulcano and other aeolian islands. If anything, the drainage in the shower place is kinda slow. Supermarket nearby and a nice bakery/ coffee shop called "Urban" is just next door”

“The host, Guiseppe was very accommodating. The ferries were not running to the Aeolian islands due to weather conditions, and this place was available. We were fortunate that we stayed here on such short notice and with quick entry to property. Very close to ferry, cafes, and shops. Parking is a little hectic, but we found spots close to apartment. “Comfortable and clean room, safe area with many restaurant around. Very close to the ferry port (to Stromboli) and bus station to (fm Milazzo train station to Center) and (Milazzo to Messina) Local cafe for breakfast”

“Nice clean hotel. Our room didn’t have a balcony that we thought we were going to have (which is ok) but we didn’t even have a window, except a skylight. Felt a bit claustrophobic. Room is small so if you need lots of room, keep that in mind. ”

“We had one of the largest rooms. This property is close to everything. The brothers that own it are very nice and will help to arrange transportation and offer advice on places to eat and visit if you ask. The complimentary minibar was a nice surprise after a walk from the bus station. The courtyard is nice too. Despite being in the centre of town the room was quiet. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again if visiting Taormina.”

“Stayed 4 nights during November 2025 Our stay at Castalia Apartments was mixed. While the location was convenient, the apartment itself had several drawbacks: • The entrance to the building was very dark, with no lighting available. • We experienced a few short power outages and, more significantly, lost hot water for about 12 hours due to an electrical issue with the water heater. • The apartment did not offer any view, which was disappointing given Taormina’s scenic surroundings.
