"We had a lovely relaxing time here. Very clean and nicely furnished property. Fabio was friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful and quiet up in the mountains. If you arrive at night like we did it can be a bit tricky to find. A very relaxing stay."

"Es war wunderschön abgelegen, ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto bis nach Pescia. Ein wunderschönes kleines Bergdorf eine traumhafte Aussicht und einfach soooo viel Natur. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber lief reibungslos (auf italienisch) und er war sehr freundlich. Der Garten war an einer Seite durch eine Hecke umzäunt, da wäre mir ein richtiger Zaun lieber gewesen. Mein kleiner Hund ist einmal sehr übermütig durch die Hecke durch und dahinter die ca. 2-3 Meter hohe Mauer hinunter...

"The villa suited our family’s needs wonderfully and having the terrace with the gorgeous view over the Tuscan hills was fabulous. We hadn’t realised that the pool is shared with a small number of other families staying in other parts of the property, but it wasn’t a problem and the pool was never overcrowded. Cristina was so helpful and I would happily stay again."

"We stayed here for just over two weeks and cannot rave enough about the generosity Stefano, Beatrice & Michele showed us. The place is very clean, our hosts were gracious and helpful. Our stay was very comfortable and Stefano & Beatrice would gift us with treats. Would highly recommend as a quiet get away and home base if you are touring Northern Italy. Thank you so much! "We chose Violetta's place in search of relaxing holidays with a lot of walking/going trekking and reading and we were not dissappointed. The village Montefegatesi is a beauty in itself. Sunrise, sunset or spangled sky - you get the best views there. We made several nice tours. You don't even need a map or app because most of the tracks are well signposted. The village also has a very interesting history! Additionally, Lucca, Florence and the beach are still in driving distance if you need some...

"The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna."

"The villa was quaintly rustic and set in a beautiful setting. The property was immaculately clean and had all (and more) supplies, should you have forgotten anything! The surroundings were quiet, with the maintained pool a great feature during hot days! The property had a really nice warm and cozy feel, which was echoed by all the guests that were staying there. The town of Bagni Di Lucca catered for all your grocery needs, to which I would suggest visiting before you head up to the villa....

They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. "We loved the house but it’s not for anyone with even slightly impaired walking, balance, or ability to climb stairs. The house is very old, but updated wonderfully. However we never saw any pool. I would definitely return to this house."
