"Room a bit too warm, but otherwise very comfortable. All staff were very warm and friendly. The breakfast buffet was extensive and there was even a bottle of sparkling wine so you could make yourself a mimosa!"

"The room was very spacious and had a great view. We only were disappointed in lack of professionalism in staff. At the breakfast, we found the young employees hogging a coffee machine, chitchatting. No regard to guests who paid for the breakfast, not as a part of their fringe benefits (I am assuming that staff can eat the same breakfast as guests at this hotel?). Only driveway to the parking was extremely steep and scary. A lot of water damage in the room and building. Very awkward building structure (“new” addition to the existing building?). Overall, it was a pretty nice experience except the young employees prioritizing their breakfast needs over paying guests."

"This was my fourth stay at the Aqualuz. The hotel is perfect for me, and it is right in the middle of one of my favourite parts of the world to visit. I am there for work, so I have ideal access for where I need to be, in an extremely comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms and great facilities (including breakfast, the pool, and the bars/restaurants), and (the highlight) to have near-direct access to an incredibly beautiful beach. Staying at Aqualuz each year is one of my favourite things to do in life."

"The swimming pool and the garden with views are magnificant, but the house is not confortable, to low and a lot of stairs en for tall people a problem. Showers are small, and to much old funature in the house and the beds not confortable. But with the pool and the full privacy I will give it 4 stars. We did have a very plesant stay for 3 days and the host was very kind and helpfull."

"Well kitted out house. Convenient location with bus stop outside for Lisbon bus. Lots of beaches close by. Host provided lots of information on things to see. "

"Nice hotel - staff were polite and was easy to find after a delayed flight into Lisbon. Room was spacious but struggled to find plug sockets to charge phone in the room as all being used by lamps "
