Superb week in Galveston

We absolutely loved this property. Location is great—very quiet neighborhood just minutes from everything you want to do in Galveston. We used the backyard dock every day for fishing. House was spacious and clean. We would stay on this property again!

This was a large place to hold all of us comfortably. The listing is only a 2 bathroom Not a 3 as listed. Clean with coffee and appliances. Easy to find with a great boardwalk!

Great Place for a large group!

This is a great place for a large group. We throughly enjoyed our stay. It fit us all perfectly and our kids loved the entertainment space upstairs. This house had everything we needed and wanted for this mini vacation.

The property was perfect! The house had plenty of space, video games that kept all the adults busy, beautiful views. I had to buy a crock pot due to the one in the pantry being broke…but that wasn’t a problem. I would definitely stay here again. I loved that it was in a gated community and very quiet.

Family memorial

It was an absolutely beautiful home. Everything was clean. It was a quiet and peaceful place. No issues with checking in or out . I was disappointed that the elevator was not available to use. I had elderly family members that came to the memorial but, couldn't physically get up and down the stairs.

Wonderful Fishing, Views & Assortment of Pot Lids

Great place with amazing views to stay and fish, though it could use some interior maintenance and upgrades (paint, carpet, etc). I get this place is a rental, but there are easy fixes to make stays much nicer. Bathrooms did not have toilet paper holders lol, which turned out to be an inconvenience, an easy fix. Kitchen is stocked with enough to get by, but random assortment of utensils and dishes (but enough lids for a family reunion). Two adults ended up staying in the “bunk room” and the full bed made creaky noises with the slightest movement.

Great for every family member!

Great house that accommodated all guest. Teens and tweens loved the upstairs game room. Dads and uncles enjoyed finishing and crabbing, the mommas and aunties enjoyed wine and sunsets. The only thing I would have to say is that the cooking supplies was challenging as we had to cook for an army. I’d suggest bringing your own large pan. And extra blankets. Everyone had a great time.

Different Experience

We selected this property on the bay as we had always stayed on the beach. The bay would give us a different experience. The views of the bay and sunset were beautiful. The area is like a wet land so the bugs and mosquito's where terrible to the point that you could not go outside at night or early in the morning. Although this is not an property issue, it should be stated in the listing. The house is nice but has not been well maintained. The carpets are very old and stained (pet friendly). The walls, casings and light switch covered were covered in dirt and hand prints. The shower tiles had pink mold growth all around. The kitchen had limited utensils and the bottom of the BBQ pit was completely rusted out. Overall, the value was good and we made the best of what we had.

Beautiful and comfortable home

My family and I stayed in this beautiful home during our trip to Galveston. We were absolutely not disappointed. One of my main concerns when booking was whether or not the air conditioning would work properly considering the heat outside. We opened the door and I was so grateful to feel the cool air! The temperature in the house was consistent and did not get warm during the day. I am not a person that sleeps just anywhere. I genuinely felt that the bed was clean even though I used my own blankets. My husband and family enjoyed the pier! Super convenient considering we had my nephews and niece with us. They were able to go in and out of the house while the family was fishing. The only thing I would suggest that we didn't do was bring lights. When night fishing its very dark because there is no lighting. My husband caught six fish during the night fishing and my brother caught two fish in the morning. The beaches are close by. Restaurants within 20 minutes Drive. I would absolutely stay here again! The owner was very quick at getting back with me anytime I messaged. I would absolutely recommend this home!
