Lovely home for our girls getaway. Beach was a pleasant walk just a few steps away and not crowded at all. Would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the beach without the noise and crowds.

Short stay

We spent the weekend with our children and grandchildren and had a wonderful time. It was an easy walk to the beach. We come to Galveston at least once every summer and this was last minute so I feel the property was very accommodating for what we needed.

Great Family Vacation Spot

We really enjoyed this beach house, which could easily and comfortably hold our family of 5. There were other bed options available for more guests, if needed. The beds were comfortable, the view was great, quick 4 mim walk to the beach (we timed it lol), and it had all the amenities you needed from towels to dishes and even beach items: chairs and boogie boards. The A/C was amazing and our family really enjoyed the stay.

Quiet Getaway

Loved this cute house and the great neighborhood. Easy easy walk to the beach. So many thoughtful things included - beach chairs, wagon, coffee, etc. Very responsive to messages and so helpful.

Great location, ok house

We booked last minute for a quick 2 nights. The house is cute, but a bit run down. Master bath shower is almost too small to use… and I’m 5’2 and 110 pounds. Deck and outdoor table very run down and did not feel relaxing. Great location and access to the beach! Owner was easy to get a hold of.

Exceptionally accommodating Host

We had booked a property through Beach Box Vacation Rentals. On morning two, there were rat droppings in the kitchen and living room. We left with no assistance at all from Beach Box and were forced to navigate finding alternate accommodations, on our own, with no refund for unused nights. I contacted the host for this rental and explained the situation at 10PM. We were immediately booked and the host was able to allow us in immediately. This is a great location, close the beach and is well stocked with supplies. From the kitchen, to the beach toys, we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much for relieving some of the stress from our vacation!

Great property could’ve been better

Great property enjoyed our time but the air circulation upstairs was drastically different than downstairs. We had to buy additional fans to cool down the upstairs bedrooms. We finally got a decent flow redirecting vents by the last night. Whoever manages the property needs to manage better. We had to wash all towels prior to using due to mildew smell and we had try go buy pots and pans because the ones there were so unusable. Have pics as well.

Awesome beach house!

After finally finding the right house- (Vrbo directions took us to the wrong street- google it instead), it was as spacious and beautiful as the pictures. The upstairs bathroom between two bedrooms is huge and has a big shower. The downstairs bedroom is smallish, but has a nice king-sized bed and closet. The attached bath was small, with a tiny shower. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, toaster, microwave, keurig and drip coffee makers, plus a few staples like spices. While ten people could sleep here, I think it would be tight. 6-8 guests would be more comfortable. There were only three of us. We appreciated that the owner communicated with us quickly. Bring mosquito repellent!!! The critters are large and have voracious appetites. There is a supply of beach toys and a handy wagon and tent in a storage closet downstairs. The beach is a short walk from the house and wasn't crowded. There was some building and repair work happening very near where we were on the beach, but it didn’t bother us. We thought the place was a good deal for the price and would recommend it.
