Wonderful vacation

We had a great time at the property. The location was nice and quiet and close to the beach. We enjoyed fishing, we caught a lot by the dock. The property can use a bit of an upgrade but overall we had a wonderful family time and the house was big enough to accommodate our group. The host was very responsive.

Relaxing stay

It was an enjoyable stay. Plenty of sleeping space for large families. We enjoyed seating outside in the evenings and fishing but everything we caught was fairly small. We would stay here again!

Great Beach Access

Location was great and very close to the beach and outside of the main Galveston strip. So, if you like having beach space or not being ontop of other beach goers, the west side of the island is a beautiful place to stay.

The location an boat slip were good . The beds were not good a the lights downstairs were not much help . The pictures were deceiving but for the price we paid it was ok but as far as summer rates way over priced

Family getaway

My husband and I took our kids and a few of their friends (14-17) for a couple nights during Spring Break. The house was small but we did not feel cramped at all. Loved the amount of beds. The pool table was a hit. The only things that bothered us was the wall a/c unit in pool room smelled of eggs/sulphur, the kitchen isn’t stocked with important tools such as measuring cups/spoons, wine opener, and tongs, and the real kicker was the grill was rusted completed out and we were to be cooking burgers for 12 people when we checked in. I did report it right away kind of expecting them to send a replacement but just got a response of “thanks for letting us know”. These were minor things but would’ve been nice to know so hopefully this helps the next guests.

Items in the house not working properly

We checked in at 4pm no problem. When entering the home the A/C was warm not cooling the house . The sink was having a hard time draining any water down. The fridge door did not stay sealed shut causing the food to stay warm and the dish washer would not shut all the way and had a smell coming from it .cooking was a challenge due to the stove Having a error code so the oven didn’t work
